Zondervan is to be commended for bringing the Bible to a child's level. Rather than straight narration, the production is broken up with scripture for memorization, vignettes of life in biblical times, practical applications of Christian doctrine, and biblical trivia. Approximately twenty readers, ranging from children to teenagers, bring talent and enthusiasm, though little diversity. A few adults are minimally present, reading only titles and openings. The frequent changing of readers, sometimes two or three on a single track, creates a pleasing cadence and holds listeners' attention. My kids will listen to this and enjoy it. There are more action-packed Christian CD's out there, but if you want Bible Stories which are paraphrases, this is a good choice. Great for bedtime.

I believe that The Lord lead me to look and purchase all the volume of these cd's. They have been a blessing to me and my twins who is 7 years of age.
