Zondervan is to be commended for bringing the Bible to a child's level. Rather than straight narration, the production is broken up with scripture for memorization, vignettes of life in biblical times, practical applications of Christian doctrine, and biblical trivia. Approximately twenty readers, ranging from children to teenagers, bring talent and enthusiasm, though little diversity. A few adults are minimally present, reading only titles and openings. The frequent changing of readers, sometimes two or three on a single track, creates a pleasing cadence and holds listeners' attention. My children (8, 6, 4, and 2) love listening to this series. They listen to it an night before they go to sleep or during rest or quiet times. We have been thankful for how much they have retained and learned from listening to the CD. I highly recommend it.

I bought these Bible CDs, not sure if they would be appropriate for my son who is 2 years old. Too my happy surprise, he really enjoys them!! I put a different CD on every night while he's going down for the night instead of his usual lullabies. He falls asleep easily, and I love the fact that he's listening to God's word before and during his sleep. I've also noticed when we are reading Bible story he is more apt to point out "jesus" or "God". Very awesome and I highly recommend them for families who want their child to hear God's word and get it in their child's spirit!!
