Zondervan is to be commended for bringing the Bible to a child's level. Rather than straight narration, the production is broken up with scripture for memorization, vignettes of life in biblical times, practical applications of Christian doctrine, and biblical trivia. Approximately twenty readers, ranging from children to teenagers, bring talent and enthusiasm, though little diversity. A few adults are minimally present, reading only titles and openings. The frequent changing of readers, sometimes two or three on a single track, creates a pleasing cadence and holds listeners' attention. We have all three volumes... My kids love it and each have their favorite discs. Has great real life facts mixed in and songs. And the kids remember the stories! Only complaint is that the discs wore out fast. We used it for bed time.

The dust jacket was a little more worn than I thought it would be, but the CD's played wonderfully. I was so glad to have been able to find this CD for my son. Well worth the search and the dented jacket.
