Purchased for a gift for 10 yr old nephew during trip to Mexico. I even bought extra battery will higher mA. But upon first run, the boat kept hiccuping. It was as if the receiver only took orders for one second at a time. Pushing FWD would result in go stop go stop go stop each second, so it never got past 10 mph. Maybe a lemon.

product is badly put together, the stickers were not evenly placed on the hull, looked very cheap. when i pulled the antenna up on first use it came away in my hands, the battery only lasted about 5 minutes. dont waste your time and money buying this poorly made product.

This little boat is really fast! And it's fun to play with, however the batter compartment isn't fully sealed so if you get a lot of splash up on the boat and inside the boat, this isn't really a problem except it slows the boat down and can cause weird issues when turning with all the water inside splashing around. You can fix this with duct tap or other kind of sealer I'm sure.

But again, super fast and fun to play with.
