About 10 years ago I heard Olivine on a Wasted compilation. Instant bliss.
Analog synth improv: it immediately brought to mind mid-70s Tangerine Dream (to me the best period of their music), it has the competence of, say, Rubicon but retains more of the experimentalism of their earliest recordings. The textures are rich and varied, each composition meandering but developed--I can't get enough of it.
