I bought this product to help decrease the size of a fibroid tumor in my stomach. Not only did it do that, it's helped relieve numbness and pain in my feet, insomnia and a host of other problems I've had. I ordered another bottle right away!

In Dec. of 2012, I began a pretty strict regimen for losing weight, and I can say for absolute certain that my plan worked (for me), and I attribute that to proper diet and exercise, and also the addition of certain teas and supplements to my daily intake.
Common Chickweed (Stellaria media) is being tested for use in treating obesity. It's apparent actions are to prohibit the absorption of fats and carbohydrates into your body, by blocking certain enzymes. These then get flushed out, instead of being stored. Thus, depending upon your personal situation, you can take it once or twice per day. I take it in the middle of the day, just after lunch.

I also happen to drink a good amount of green tea, Pu-Erh tea (a fermented green and black, which helps metabolize fats), and white tea, along with some other supplements. I lost 48 pounds between December 2012 and March 2013, so whether it was one supplement, or all of them put together, it did work.

And I should mention that I do NOT follow any "fad" diets. I did not cut out any carbohydrates nor sugars. I merely eat in better moderation, and have a better balance. Do not believe the media hype. Your body MUST have carbs, proteins, and fats in order to function properly. It's how much you eat, in what balance, and from what sources that makes the difference.

So I can say for certain, that - for me - adding this Chickweed capsule supplement to my daily diet intake did help with my weight loss. I recommend it.

Sellers keep playing playing price increase games with this (red tag and others). I will shop around for another brand as I hate the pricing games that prevail on Amazon. I wanted to try these for leg cramps as well as weight loss. Leg cramps subsided immediately, haven't seen any weight loss, more like a relentless diuretic. Ha! You should Google the benefits of this herb for yourself and check with your Pharmacist and Dr. before taking with meds, etc. Hate to write a good review as it seems on Amazon, once that happens the price goes up, shop around locally to compare. 5 stars for the product, zero for the sellers who are engaging in price hikes as soon as you order. :(

The chickweed caps did work to relieve constipation, but at the cost of fairly severe cramping. Taking 1 capsule didn't do much of anything, but 2 caused the cramps as well as the, er, movement. I'll stick to magnesium; works at least as well without the pain.
