This works great especially in emergencies when you can't use a car or wall charger.

I've written 3 emails over 2 weeks to the manufacturer in order to get an RMA for warranty repair and have received no response.

This little battery about the size of a deck of playing cards has been great to me for over a year now.

This wonderful little charger (not much larger than a deck of cards) is perfect for both emergencies and trips.

I have an iPhone 4s, and at full charge, this completely charged my phone with about 3/4 of the battery power left. It comes with a USB cord with multiple tips for charging various items. It has two USB ports on the unit to charge multiple items at once

A couple of months ago we had a major power outage in my neighborhood. No power, no house phone. So the iPhone is our emergency lifeline.

While I keep it charged under normal circumstances, putting it on the charger when I get home, Murphys law states that "whatever can go wrong will go wrong." so I figure I will eventually hit a power outage with an undercharged battery on my iPhone. I have been looking for a solution, so that I know I will have power for the phone in an emergency. I find this to be the perfect solution.

While I have a car charger for trips in the car, I have made long Amtrak trips where it would have very helpful to keep my iPhone and iPad charged, when few outlets were available. The same holds true for camping trips, so far we haven't managed to find a tent with an outlet pre-installed. I am also an avid biker and I find that on long rides, while I'm listening to music and using a training app, the phone battery tends to die to quick. I just attached the battery pack during my last ride and when I got back after 10 hours of riding, my phone was still fully charged!

It also charges up my iPad3, which is great during movie emergencies (when the ipad dies during a Netflix movie..)

I bought a second battery to keep in my office, so that it will always be handy. Just the feeling of security knowing it is there is well worth the price!

I recently purchased this item. I charged my Kindle Fire (was at about 50%) shortly after receiving and it worked great giving me a full charge. I didn't charge the power pack after using it on my Kindle. A few days later, I took it to a family gathering and my niece needed to charge her Blackberry. I told her she could use my power pack, so she plugged it in and started charging. My son nudged me, laughing, and said she was using her phone while it was charging. She finished and later my son asked if he could use it for his iPhone. He charged it, too. He said it charged his phone very quickly and when it got to 94% charge - he just went ahead and unplugged it. I am anxious to use it on my new phone. It's looking like this was a really smart purchase. It was used 3 times and still had 1-2 lights on the pack - I would estimate around 25-30% left. I plugged it into the USB charger that came with my phone and charged it from an AC outlet rather than the USB port on my computer. I am carrying this thing with me at all times.

The power bank is very useful. When it's fully charged, it lasted a very long time. Thing was, the thing where it connects to charge is broken, which it only lasted me 5-6 months. But I can say it's worth carrying around knowing you have an extra 10 hours on your phone. Just a heads up, try not to fiddle with the thing where it charges, it may preserve your PowerBank to last longer.

Worked great for a few months, until the power input connector broke. I've written 3 emails over 2 weeks to the manufacturer in order to get an RMA for warranty repair and have received no response. Guess it's time for the recycle bin.

I often try to avoid purchasing items from third party vendors on Amazon, firstly because often times, some of them do not offer Prime and other times, the product you end up getting is not quite what the picture depicted.

I got this product and was very happy with my purchase, however, it does not work. I plug in the device, turned it on and it comes on and charges the device for a few minutes but then it goes back off.

At first, i thought, maybe the portable charger needed to be recharged, but even after recharging the device fully, still same issue. its pretty disappointing i have to say. I would try to return it back but honestly, i rather not go through the headache, however, the least i can do is warn other buyers to beware of this product.

My wife was happy when I bought the Power Bank 5000mAh since she would be able to use her 2nd gen iPad longer, especially on trips. We charged the unit overnight (about 16 hours) and she left the next day. After sharing her iPad with a relative on the car trip, she decided to test her new Power Bank to recharge. All indicators were normal, but the Power Bank only gave the iPad a half charge and then shut down. All attempts to charge the Power Bank were unsuccessful, but from her computers USB socket and a wall adaptor. Unit returned to Amazon as defective (gotta love their return policy). Now to find a different product that will hopefully perform.
