I got these for my fiance because we kayak a lot and he generally does all of the paddling in our 2-person kayak. His hands get beat up and before I got him the gloves, he would be blistered and sore for the next few days. Since using the gloves, this problem has been alleviated. Even when wet, the fabric doesnt rub uncomfortably which is a huge plus. They provide just the right amount of cushion to protect his hands. He's mentioned how much he loves them quite often.

I love them! I originally bought them with hot, sunny days in mind, not wanting to have to keep applying sunscreen to my hands as they keep getting wet and sweaty. When I first tried holding my paddle with them, everything was dry, and I thought that they didn't grip very well. But then I took them on the lake. First I went around without them. Then I put them on, and I immediately noticed a difference! The grip was better, more comfortable, and my hands still kept plenty cool on that day with a 97 deg. heat index. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have owned the NRS Kayaking glove for the last two years and have used them on nearly every kayaking trip except for some of the colder winter trips. They work well down to 55F beyond that you are probably going to want something with fingers. Of the 60+ kayaking trips I have taken in that time, these gloves have held up admirably with not a single ripped stitch. The leather palms do a great job of preventing blisters. Only downside is the lack of odor controlling fabric.

I would not hesitate to purchase this product again as it really is a great enduring piece of gear.

I use this glove for working out at the gym. The leather on the palm and fingers is stiffer than on regular workout gloves, so I find that the fingers don't bunch up like they do on most workout gloves.
