I am not a review writer but I felt compelled to write a review on this show b/c this is the first show in a very long time that forced me to watch the whole season in one day. I am not a biker chick or never wanted a bike so I didn't think I would like it but this show was HIGHLY recommended so I took a chance and boy I wasn't disappointed. The characters, storyline and action are great and I don't feel anything is too farfetched. I hope they continue for seasons to come.

The twists and turns of this season grew the world of Charming, CA by ten-fold. Completely satisfying. I've been a fan since running across mention of the show pre-Season 1. Between Kurt Sutter's raw, rambling, passionate blog and the brilliant writing, directing and acting on this show each week you have a perfect blend of entertainment rarely seen. The characters are real and Shakespearean, the plot original and often completely unexpected, and like every great love, you are left wanting more.

And thank you Amazon for partnering to provide a great alternative to cable/satellite tv. I almost resubscribed just to watch Sons this season (there was no way I was waiting 30 days for Hulu and no way I was going without!) I am thrilled to have found the on-demand video.

Now for the painful wait for Season 4!

Very rarely do I watch something on tv and continue to think about it days later. This season of SOA had that sort of impact on me.

With Jax's son kidnapped and Gemma going to jail we watch as the motorcycle club seems to be falling apart. The season opener started with a huge unforeseen bang. It was unbelievable. I really was in shock the entire episode. Especially, after the ended the second season with the way they did.

I think this show has some serious writers. With the scenarios they come up with and how they bring everything together has me WOWed.

I honestly, watched this entire season in one night. I was up until 5am the other morning just trying to see what happens next. This is one of the best series I've seen. I'll be thinking of this show for a long time.

This season had it's moments but overall, it was by far my least favorite. Thankfully, Sutter came back very strong with Season 4, which I find is the best yet. The Ireland deal was really drug out for too long. It wasn't hard to see why this season wasn't nominated for anything. It's still one of the best on T.V. so it's easy to forgive this glitch.

Sutter crafted this one perfectly. I really thought Jax was gonna fold for minute. Jimmy O took his fate like a soldier, unlike Stahl, the sniveling begging weasel that she is (was). Opie is centered again. Hells Angels president Sonny Barger cameo as "Lenny the pimp"? just brilliant.

The Fonz is revving up his Harley as this show is about to jump the shark. After two riveting, heart-pounding seasons in which every detail has been authentic, this side-show in Northern Ireland is patently absurd. Sure, biker gangs have been affected by globalization and there are now criminal MCs in many European countries closely tied with their North American counterparts (think Denmark and Germany), however this roaming around the countryside business with the IRA is pure crap.

To make matters worse, Titus Welliver, while a fine actor, concocted a bizarre accent the likes of which I've never heard. Got a couple of friends from Belfast and well, Jimmy did not ring true. Marble-mouth city.

The three-star review is because while this season was terribly flawed, it was action-packed and the anchors of the show remain the always-intriguing Clay and Gemma (and the outstanding supporting cast).

This show is simply amazing. But words can't really do it justice. The second season was the best T.V. I have ever watched, it had me smiling, crying, and wanting to go play bad ass all at the same time. This third season is not quite as suspenseful as the second, it comes very close however and still deserves five stars in my book. The show is just as good as the shield, and maybe better depending on how long it lasts.

As for Amazons T.V. on demand freezing and reloading, I have experienced no such problems. I would imagine it is dependent on the quality of your internet connection.
