Amazing Dexterity With These On!,

We LOVE these gloves!! They are so comfortable and you can still have semi-fine motor skills with your fingers while wearing them. The rubber palms and fingertips give you a great grip on slippery, wet pots, too. My partner wears them when working in the pond, so they are even comfortable wet.
I have very large hands for a woman, and these fit great. My partner has very tiny hands for any adult, and the smalls fit fine. They will not stop thorns, so I still pull out the leather for pruning roses, but for planting, deadheading, and any general dirty task, these are just great...well worth the little they cost!

I recently bought the green version of these gloves in a size small as a gift. I thought to review the product as a whole rather than the specific one I bought.
The biggest surprise for me was the packaging itself - the tags said they are Equestrian gloves, for working with horses. There is a big picture of a horse on the tag, saying something like "Your horse will thank you for it!" No where on the package did it say work gloves for gardening, which is the use I had entended them for. However, the package did say "Atlas NT370 Nitrile" before the words equestrian, and the gloves are identical to the picture, so I just figure that is the way they come. I took off the tags before wrapping. I was impressed by the Nitrile covering - I can see how it would be easy to work with small seeds - the Nitrile is a slip-proof grip. The Nitrile is thick enough to protect your hands from thorns and things, yet thin enough to have some sensation of what you're doing. They don't seem to be something that would tear easily. The places where the Nitrile covers - bottom of hands and finger tips - would be waterproof, while the top of hand and wrist are made of a breathable weave - like a thick, soft mesh fabric. The packaging says the fabric does not get stiff when it gets wet. Appears to be washable, which is always great. It doesn't say washable anywhere on the packaging, but the ad on Amazon says washable - well, you can just tell that they could be washed. Bottom line, great glove for any type of outdoor work - inlcuding working with animals and plants. They are very comfortable, and I can tell that your hands wouldn't get as hot as some of the other garden gloves available. Would buy them again, especially for the price!

The best work gloves,
This review is from: NT370 Atlas Nitrile Tough Glove (Apparel)
I have used these gloves for two years now and they are by far the most comfortable and strongest gloves for gardening or other outdoor work. The nitrile coating protects your hands while the fabric back lets them breath. They fit even small hands well, and they dry quickly. At this price you cannot find a better glove.

A Versatile Classic,

When this glove first came out (maybe 2003), in black only, it was an immediate hit with craftspeople. The glove is much more rugged than it would first appear, and it nicely fills the gap between surgical gloves and synthetic leather mechanic's gloves. It's enough glove to let you handle a sheet of cut plywood without getting splinters, but you can still pick up a nail; you forget you have them on, yet find that you no longer dread touching anything dirty or ragged. Dinghy sailors use them for grip; there's nothing better for hauling up a rope anchor rode. No paper cuts or stable pokes when doing office moves. Often I'll snag the glove on sharp metal and think how glad I am that the glove was sacrificed to save my hand, then find the glove undamaged. When it moved to the garden in floral colors it was equally good with dirt, stickers and sap. Tip: before taking the gloves off wipe the palms with a wet rag.

great gardening glove, i also use them as work gloves. my hands are 8 inches long; the large fit snugly and the x-large fit loosely. with the large, you can pick up or grab the smallest of items. for being so thin (as compared to the typical blue covered garden gloves) they are durable. if you don't use them as work gloves, they'll last two seasons. after one season used as work gloves, they began to crack. but the fabric under the coating has not torn. all in all; recommendable.

GREAT GLOVES,

THESE GLOVES ARE GREAT. THEY ARE SUPPLE AND BREATHABLE, ALMOST LIKE WORKING WITH NO GLOVES AT ALL. I AM HARD ON MY GLOVES, AND USUALLY BUST THROUGH THE FINGERTIPS QUICKLY. SO FAR, THESE ARE HOLDING UP WELL. I LIKED THEM SO MUCH I WENT BACK FOR THE MULTI-PACK. I GOT THE MEDIUM; MY HANDS ARE SMALLISH, BUT MY FINGERS ARE FAIRLY LONG. I WAS WORRIED THEY MIGHT BE TOO BIG, BUT THE FIT IS JUST FINE.

I love these gloves. I wouldn't go out in the garden without them, and I usually don't like to wear gloves. These fit snugly, yet they are breathable; second skin with protection.
