5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the price
When I first saw the price for the Kerastase products, I was hoping that I would think they were all hype so that I wouldn't want to try them again.

Wrong.

This product was first recommended to me by my hairdresser, who told me it was the best product she's ever used. So having thick, chemically straightened, highlighted (so damaged!) hair, I...

3.0 out of 5 stars Just Ok - at least so far....
I had high hopes for this product after reading other reviews...but so far I'm not really impressed. My hair feels a little better than before, but not enough to justify the cost. I have only used it a few times, and I hope it will get better with time....but so far...I'd say it's not worth it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Kerastase Masquintense is amazing!, November 9, 2008
By
I purchased masintense about a month ago and have been using it nearly everyday. It only takes a little to cover all my hair (just below my shoulders). I leave it in about 5 minutes on regular days and I wrap it in a warmed towel and leave it about 20 minutes about 1 or 2 days a week. I have damaged, fine hair and it works miracles! Probably not an everyday product (is intense and very expensive), but that's how I use it and it and I really, really like how it makes my hair feel. After a month my hair has a lot less breakage, feels softer, takes less product to achieve my desired style, and just feels and looks more healthy. I didn't give it 5 stars ONLY because this product is very expensive. I will definitely buy again!

It's fantastic. Truly. You only need a little bit, and it just s-l-i-d-e-s through your hair. I wash my hair every 5 days, and the 6.8 ounce bottle has lasted for months.

I know this product works well on dry, damaged hair - it's the best thing I've ever used. So I can only imagine what it would do on normal, unprocessed hair.

Highly recommended. It's expensive, but it works, and the bottle lasts longer than you think.

5.0 out of 5 stars The only conditioner or masque you'll ever need, March 21, 2008

Yes, this is expensive, but you only need a tiny amount. Unlike some other Kerastase masques, this has almost no smell. It's got a silky smooth texture that works into the hair really well. It helps keep fine hair from having flyaway ends and is never greasy. I use this everyday as a conditioner and notice a real difference from other masques (including Kerastase's nutritive masque and a supposedly similar masque by Phyto). I've tried a lot of them and this is the one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Top pick for moisturizing dry, colored, wavy/curly hair, November 10, 2009
This review is from: NUTRITIVE MASQUINTENSE NOURISHING TREATMENT 16.9 OZ (select size) (Health and Beauty)
I've used all sorts of moisturizing treatments out there, and this is one of the most effective I've ever used. A walnut-sized amount of this thick, lightweight product is enough to help dryness. For it to work though, I make sure I use it once a week (2 weeks max) for about 10 minutes at a time. My hair is colored, thick and wavy to the point of curly, so it tends to be on the dry side. If this sounds in any way like your hair, this product should work great for you!

5.0 out of 5 stars incredible!, October 22, 2008
best stuff you can find! my big long hair is ually really cooperative but lately has been dry, blah, unshiney and started using what my salon uses (kerastase) and it's amazing! everything they have is amazing! while shopping for their products on amazon can be a little cheaper, their website gives you two free samples with every order, so... take your pick. everything the set their hands to is wonderful!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best!!, March 18, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This worked great on my dry brittle, frizzy, colored hair. Nothing else worked. A lot of money, but well worth every cent.

5.0 out of 5 stars expensive, but WORTH IT!, July 30, 2008
I'm a hair care product junky, so I've tried more products than I can count and this is the most amazing conditioner ever! It is very expensive, I'll admit, but worth it if you can afford it. (I don't use it everyday because it's so expenseive, but even 2-3 times per week makes a difference. Before a big event I'll use it almost every day for 2 weeks and my naturally blah hair looks worthy of a Pantene commercial!) I don't think the shampoo is worth the price though. It's nice and a little better than drug store brands, but not worth the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pricey but effective, September 15, 2009

Kerastase is a great line of products from L'Oreal. This product is no exception. I use it once a week and my hair is in great condition. I have long and thick hair that has a fine texture and gets tangled very easily. Kerastase helps keep my hair in manageable shape. My only complaint is the cost.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best conditioning treatments out there, November 1, 2008
This is one of the best conditioning treatments out on the market right now. Ever since I got my hair thermally reconditioned. It has been a challenge finding products that will not be repelled by my hair this is one of the few products that actually help my hair to behave. It smells great and always helps me relax while I'm taking a shower as well. I will try their other products based on the experience I've had with this one in a heart beat. If you can try to run a search on this with 500ml container, it is expensive so don't bother complaining if you want what this offers you have to be willing to shell out the dough. Though if you run the search in google, you are likely to find a seller (possibly through Amazon) that will sell the largest container for about $80 it is worth it trust me! the 500ml will last you about 1 year if you use it sparingly with other shampoo and conditioners in between. One thing I can say for sure is that I do not regret a dime I've spent on this product. It truly is worth every penny.

4.0 out of 5 stars A great, April 26, 2009
I've never used serious hair treatment products before - the previous treatment include Asience products (http://www.amazon.com/Asience-KAO-Treatment-180g/dp/B000JJXGDU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=beauty&qid=1240770409&sr=1-3)

You don't need a LOT of the keratase masquintense product but because I have a lot of hair, i probably use more than most people.

After using it for nearly 3 weeks, I do feel like my hair is smoother, but because my hair is pretty damaged (from yuko and then perm and dye), a miracle didn't happen! but i duno if any product could work miracles on my hair!

the reason i gave 4 stars was because i don't feel it is significantly different/better than the asience products~ hope this helps...
