As a bilingual speaker, this is the Bible that I use most of the time. Sometimes reading the side-by-side passages in Spanish and English gives a clearer understanding of the meaning. It's a good choice for students of either Spanish or English as a second language.

My 11 year old and 7 year old children are required to have a bi-lingual bible for school because the family relocated to Puerto Rico from the States. The NVI/NIV Biblia Biblingue (Spanish Edition)is so well organized in both languages according to scripture and verse that I decided to purchase one for the wife and I as well. The school faculty loves this bible's format too. In my opinion for what it's worth, I highly recommend this bible. Thank you Amazon.com for providing the means of comparison before making a pruchase!

The cover is flimsy & I wish I would have bought a hardcover, but this aspect was clearly described accurately. The translation is awesome!!!

I found this Bible easier to read in Spanish than my Reina Valera version. I really enjoy it. The English text is not a word-for-word translation, but I find that I can pretty much understand which words mean what. I've consulted my dictionary a lot less than with my other Bible.

Great Bible for intermediate Spanish students who want to learn more Spanish by reading the Bible. For advanced students, the Reina Valera version may be more challenging.

Good sized Bible with clear print - half Spanish, half English on each page.

This paperback is rather vulnerable for it's size, so I covered it & inserted card behind each cover to make it a hardback.

I purchased these Bibles for the Methodist Church in Guatemala for use by pastors and volunteers. Seems to be a good resource for both those that speak both languages and for someone like myself who is just learning Spanish.

I've only had this bible for a couple of years now, and have made so many notes in the margins that I'll need to buy a new copy soon!

For the spiritual Spanish-learner, intermediate level & up, it's miraculous how scripture you've read and heard and studied for a lifetime is suddenly fresh, and brimming with new insights when read in easy-to-understand Spanish.

My Mexican-American, Central and South American work has benefitted hugely, because I'm absorbing an amazing and appropriate Spanish vocabulary that cannot be found in language courses.

It's exactly what I wanted: a Bible with Spanish on one side, English on the other. However, I was horrified at the number of copy-editing errors in the introduction. I actually stopped counting them. Very sloppy. So far, I haven't seen the same problem in the text itself, but if there is a Spanish error I may very well not recognize it.

This was a great Bible for Spanish speakers in Nicaragua who are trying to learn English.

I wanted a Bible that would help me learn Spanish, and it's great for that.
