I purchased this system due to the reputation GE security systems enjoy. The Installation and Start up guide is impossible for someone not technically inclined to read.

I'm going to suffer through it since I already opened everything up and discarded the packaging, but if you are not technical-minded, I suggest you find a system with a better instruction manual.

I'm lucky in that I have an IT director friend who has offered to help, but I'm bummed that I will not be able to fully understand the system.

Perhaps my review is premature, perhaps I should have purchased a simpler system, but be advised about the high level of technical verbiage and knowledge required to use this system.
