I was thrilled with this when I unwrapped it Christmas morning! However, I have a [...] handheld from WalMart and like the options of my ceap one much better. With this expensive one, you cannot pause...the unit "goes to sleep" after 3 minutes, you cannot put in a "let's see if this number will work" number, you cannot tell by looking at the screen what numbers are given and what numbers you have input.
Figuring out how to use this is also a long process. Overall, I will stick with my [...] one!

I am addicted to Sudoku and have owned many electronic versions. This one is the best so far. Well built, the touchscreen is very sensitive (good), has a back light, comes with a zippered travel case. Only problem is that the numbers on the screen are very lage and almost touch each other, making it a little hard to read.

This is a great toy for all age. I am a Sudoku fun and I enjoy paying it all the time. This new toy has a great screen much easier to see than the previous edition.
I will give it a 4, 1/2 stars rating. If you enjoy playing Sudoko this one is for you. Go on and order it, pay your sudoko games and you will be satisfy with your purchase. My Sudoko arrived is excellent condition.

This unit was a little bigger than I thought it would be, however after giving it to my wife for valentines day she loves it. Will be great for passing time in the car, as a passenger, at the airport waiting on on a plane.

Over all this is a good Sudoku game card. The only draw back is under florescent lights it is hard to see the screen. It is a good buy and well built. Batteries seem to last a long time.

I am returning this gift because playing it gave me a headache - literally. My daughter knows how much I love playing Sudoku, and bought the best electronic game she could find as my Christmas gift - very sturdy, beautiful leather case, etc. But playing the game on this electronic device is very difficult. The background is always visible, which makes seeing the numbers extremely difficult. The numbers appear in block form, with the number "1" at the extreme far right of the screen, touching the number in the next square. I'm sure there are many great features on this particular device that I never tried, but reading the numbers seemed most important, and that just isn't easy. My recommendation - stick with pencil and paper.
