12 NYX Loose Pearl Eye Shadow Powder Pigment

To start off, those of you who haven't purchased NYX pigments before, they are in a small container (0.06 oz/ 5mL), so don't be surprised as they are nowhere near the size of M.A.C.'s pigments. This goes for all NYX pigments, not just this set. On the website each container costs [...], so you are getting them for a better deal by buying them here. However, I did not recieve all of the colors in the picture. In the picture they show Penny, Fanta, Rust, Sky Pink, Lime, Ocean Blue, Nude, White, Silver, Black, Mocha, and Walnut. I recieved Rust, Oro, Yellow-Gold, Lime, Ocean Blue, Space Blue (those two are very similar), Purple, Lilac, Pearl (very similar to Sky Pink), Mocha, Silver, and Black. I am not dissapointed by these colors, but I wish I had gotten an equal amount of neutrals and colors, and there should have been a note on the product page that told us our orders may vary. Also, the color swatches they show on the product page are not accurate. I woud reccomend going to the NYX website ([...]) and looking at the colors there, and then coming back to Amazon to buy them. The product page really does not do them justice, as they are all VERY pretty colors. I would also check out the M.A.C. website ([...]) to compare the colors to find appropriate duplicates. As for te shipping goes, I purchased the expidited type, which is supposed to arrive in 3-4 busines days. It did, and that impressed me. But when I picked the box up from my front door, the products were rolling around inside. When I opened it, the bottom of the box was stuffed with 3 pieces of packing paper, and the Pearl Pigments were litterally just in a ziplock sandwhich bag. However, none of the pigments were damaged, none of them had leaked, and they were all unopened. So if that is all it takes to protect them, congrats on your inexpensive packing method! Overall, I am impressed. I will purchase from Sun Auctions again.
**I did not try to contact the seller, but some other reviews say their service is not very good so watch out for that.
I was not too picky about this order. It was an inexpensive way to get a large amount of good quality cosmetics, and I am liking what I recieved.

I ordered these pigments with very high hopes, but what do you expect for $20 bucks. The color you see is not the color that gets put on your skin. These colors look great in the bottle, but when you put it on you do not get that color. Almost all of my other eye shadows are shimmer, but these just shimmer too much. These are great for teenagers and little girls who want glitter everywhere. I want shimmer, but not glitter that these seem to be. As far as blending these pigments good luck it doesn't work to well. These pigments also smear and crease very easily. I do know how to use pigments, I prefer MAC pigments. Over all I won't be using these that much. I will stick with my MAC pigments. They work better and last longer even though they are pricey.

very upset with the sender.... i wanted what i bought not what they thought i wanted.... i ordered this and came back with 12 of the same color.... not very happy or pleased at this time... lets see if they respond to my email

These loose pigments give off awesome color but can be a little messy. The pigments are very fine and will go all over the place if not used in moderation. I feel I got my monies worth! The colors are true to tone and last all day if applied correctly. Can be used wet or dry. A little goes a very long way! I will be using these more on clients!

I recieved these eyeshadows in a nice little package. Each eyeshadow also had a sticky wrapper on the top to prevent leaking. I also recieved the exact same eyeshadows that are listed on the product page !!!I would definitely recommend these eyeshadows as long as you have a primer to keep them on !!!

I love these pigments, was happy to get so many for the price. They came packaged well and the shipping was fast. Would definitely order again from the seller.

The product seems to be very good quality, am going to use them for my organite molds this weekend. You get alot for the money.

i got this one for myself.....neatly packaged, shipped on time and just great overall, great color payoff, i would say you have to know what you are doing in order to use these pigments as they are looser than mac pigments and can fly off easier when applying but it is great product overall...i recommended seller and product

These shadows are smaller than mac that is true but so much cheaper being that a mac shadow is $16 a pop. they are beautiful on and stay on all day, for the lady that said they are too shimmery for older ladies...well...it's all about how you apply them and what colors you use. And here is a GREAT HINT: add a little water (no more than a drop) and mix it in with the color and it will stay even better go on darker so if you want to use it for a liner or be really fun. The book they have that shows you how to use the brighter colors together in both a subdued and wild way is great for any of you that haven't been playing with make up since you were ten!!! Get these for you, your daughter or even my 65 year old mom loves them.

Speedy delivery. A staple item to have for every budding makeup artist, and it's fun to use for personal use, too. Great for fun projects such as Halloween makeup, bc the products are so pigmented and blendable. Thank you for the quick delivery and great product!
