I can safely say that as long as NZXT is selling these, I will be using one of these on every build.

You can plug this straight into the power supply, the motherboard's fan controller port, or a standalone fan controller.

I can safely say that as long as NZXT is selling these, I will be using one of these on every build. Here is why I like it so much:

PROS
1) Small and easy to hide
2) Solid build quality
3) Includes zip ties and velcro to help with cable management and unit placement
4) Has some nice lights if you decide to mount it somewhere visible
5) Works great for water pumps as it provides a steady 12v of power to each port
6) Really helps clean up cabling around the motherboard area by eliiminating clutter, extension cables, splitters, etc. My builds are super clean now.

CONS
1) Only supports 3 pin fans, not PWM. Fine for me since I mostly use 3 pin fans.
2) Requires power from the power supply. Could hook it up to the board, but seems like a lot of load on one fan header. Has an adapter in the box that allows you to use a standard Molex connection. If you dont have a Molex on your power supply, you could always use a SATA power to Molex adapter (not included)
3) If unit fails, could cause some or all of your fans to fail. Just

Overall though, I highly recommend this product. I love it so much, I have bought and used 3 of them now! All worked flawlessly.

It can sure carry on to 10 fans and it does what its advertised to do. Although you cant control the RPM meaning the fans will run at full RPM and you have no problem with this then this is the product that your looking for. It fits in any case with its tiny form factor.

It does not have support for PWM = 4pin fan connector. Other than that is perfect, i have it in the back of my case and it does not even touch the side panel.

I really wanted to like this given the popularity, appearance, and versatility of the device. Perhaps I was just unlucky to receive defective products, but neither of the two I ordered worked. I'm not sure what the odds of that are.

1. The sockets are extremely loose. I was trying to run 6 Corsair AF120 fans of molex power from a Corsair 860i. Not a single one of the 10 sockets could reliably hold onto a standard 3-pin fan connector. Fans could not be counted on to stay plugged in. As a result, fans just fell out.
2. The power flow is jittery. I tried to address the first problem by firmly holding the fan plugs into the sockets (otherwise, mere vibration from the computer would cause them to fall out). If I held the fans in, the fans would repeatedly spin and stop spinning. This problem still occurred even when I was testing just one fan by itself.

Maybe I was just very unlucky to get 2 horribly defective products. It's a shame, but I'll have to return both of these and go for another less attractive, more expensive fan hub.

High quality durable plastic casing, decent number of 4 pin fan extensions. I really like the subtle white "power indicator" light.

It, however, does not support PWM, not enough to knock off an star, but it would be a nice feature. Hopefully NZXT will offer a fan splitter with PWM functionality at some point in the future?

This thing, it is exactly what I needed, I will gladly recommend this to anyone that needs a product like this.

Great build quality, small enough to tuck away into a corner of the case, and affordably priced. I don't like having to use onboard 3-4 pin connectors for my case fans, and using Molex to 3-4 pin connectors creates a mess of cables. With the Grid, I was able to route all case fan cables behind the case, giving the case a neat "cable-less" look for improved air flow.

Works perfectly and is easy to install. Very small form factor made it easy to hide for a clean install.
