Overall, a great case to build in, and a great case to look at.

This case is really good if you want a case that is easy to build in, makes cable management easy, is quiet, and has a beautiful, clean look to it IMO.

The build quality is great and I have nothing bad to say about this case.

I dont have the case yet but I had to debunk the review by kevin thats on here so please read. This is a mid tower buget ultimate water cooling case thats why it does'nt have opticals bays. Dont listen to that review that says its not for wc or sli lol. That makes no sense there is MORE THAN ENOUGH room for 2-way sli or even 3 way with 780s and you can fit dual 360 rads one 30 mm in roof with one set of fans and the front has 120mm of space from the very back of the front fans to the edge of the stealth cover. THATS EASILY A 80MM rad IN PUSH PULL!!! This is not a huge case but its layed out very nicely. He also mentioned that that theres no room for pump and res. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. Seriously if you can't figure out how to mount a res in pump in here then you have no business doing water cooling, theres plenty of room, options, and you will be able to make it very neat with the use of the proper fitings again PROPER FITTINGS KEVIN!!!!! Example in th front (we will leave the roof mounted one alone for now) you could do a 60mm rad push pull and have enough room to mount a full size tube res in the front, or 80mm push pull square res in the bottom, or a rad that has res an pump built in. I doubt he actually had the case its not released yet lol he is trolling us. The only ones that got it are a select few of reviewers and every review Ive watched its got nothing but awards and praise for the optical bay-less silent water cooling options and designed to hide everything. If you buy this case for a single card with cpu and gpu on air cooling with no plans to liquid cool them then you need to be slaped. This case is optimized for liquid cooling not air. If your doing air then there are better choices. Dont take my word for it unlike him ill give you prof check out this video its a proper review.Read more ›

Just used this case for my first build and I can't even praise it enough. Everything about the installation was simple and easy, from motherboard mounting to cable management. Most of the frame is made of steel so it feels very solid, never flimsy or weak. It is incredibly quiet, even with the cooler master after-market fan, and very sleek. The lack of optical bays was no problem for installing Windows, just make sure to get an external dvd drive.

Overall, amazing case, sleek, smooth, durable and quiet.

This case is fantastic! I used it for my first desktop build, and was putting in some very nice components so I wanted to show them off. I was looking at silent cases, with a sleek look, and large side windows, so I pretty much narrowed it down to the H440 by NZXT, and the Fractal R4. In the end, I decided to go for the H440 on looks alone.

Here are some things I love about the case:
- REALLY easy to build in. Lots of space, tons of extra parts given to you by NZXT, great layout, and it really does show off your parts.
- Will accommodate lots of fans (120 or 140mm, for the most part), and large radiators. I was concerned about airflow because there aren't really too many large vents on the case, but the case stays incredibly cool at all times.
- Lots of sound isolating foam = silent builds.
- The build quality is SERIOUSLY good. Down to the soft touch steel, attention to detail, lose-proof thumbscrews, it really feels like a luxury case (but for a decent chunk of money, I'd hope so!).
- There are lot's of goodies that come with the case, and it comes with conveniences like a rear LED I/O light, and a light up logo in the cable management section, already wired and ready for Molex. Cool things like that really finish off the build.

Nuisances:
- No 5.25" drive. I know, I bought the case expecting this, but it would have been nice. There's plenty of space to have at least 1 in the top. But it's a minor quip, especially since I only use an ODD for an occasional CD rip or program install. If you NEED a 5.25" drive or two, check out the bigger brother of the H440, the NZXT H630, or the Fractal R4.
- There are some compatibility issues with the mounting of SSDs on top of the cable management section (right above the NZXT logo).

First off I pre-ordered my case from the manufacturer after seeing several videos from tech sites that received the case early.

Second I am not water cooling and do not have any experience in water cooling, this case is setup for people who do want to do some water cooling but I will not address that.

This case is extremely well built , every component feels well made and very sturdy, there are no flimsy side panels or any flex in the case, it is a very solid (and heavy) case.

One thing I really like is the top panel with the audio connectors/usb ports comes all the way off with no issues and no connectors attached. If you have ever removed a front/top panel on other cases many have the wires connected to the panel making it difficult to work with without disconnecting all of your front panel headers first.

Both side panels have sound dampening foam on them that helps keep the case quite. Its not perfectly silent but it is very quite.

The drive trays are steel with rubber washers for mounting 3.5 inch mechanical drives and keeping vibration down. There are no guide rails to load the trays as you can completely remove the trays if desired. When putting the hard drive tray in line it up slide it in and there is a small ledge on the back above and below the tray that it fits into, once properly seated and the thumb screws tightened the drive tray is very secure.

The front and top panel snap on and off fairly easily, you do need to put some force behind it but its not nearly as difficult as some cases. Snapping the panels back in is very easy and no worries due to the quality construction.

Mounting the PSU is a little different with this case since it has a shroud covering the PSU.
