I came across this book almost by accident. What struck me immediately was that the author was a senior officer (retired) of the Indian Air Force, a genuinely highly respected institution in India.

Some years ago i had my 'Naadi' readings done and was astounded by their accuracy, primarily as they pertain to my past. But there are very few, if any at all, books on this subject.

The book brilliantly captures what is at its most basic, a deeply personal yet honest journey towards understanding a mind boggling experience which would defy all normative bounds of logic.

Wing Commander Shashikant Oak came across the astounding phenomenon of 'Naadi' predictions many years ago. He was initially quite sceptical but upon experiencing it first hand was sufficiently impressed to investigate it further. That was many years ago. However he did not become a 'devotee' of Naadi shastra but decided to pursue its underpinnings, including the origins of these unique creations (Naadis) with the open-mindedness and enthusiastic zeal of a researcher. He questioned the practitioners of this art / science across diverse geographic domains in India relentlessly yet patiently, often waiting hours on end to seek answers to his questions. I found the candor and a repeated exhortation to the reader to experience Naadi readings first hand rather than rely on someone else's stated experience refreshing in the extreme. If Wg Cdr Oak had made a 'sales pitch' for the Naadi shastra discipline, it would have been a turn off but this does not happen, indeed not even once. The book reads almost like a thriller and i read it 'cover to cover' from the minute it was delivered at my door thru Amazon.

Wg Cdr Oak has performed a genuine public service by writing this book.

A brilliant and well-researched book about this wonder of India. It contains mind-boggling stories as is well written and engaging. This is a book by someone who has devoted a large part of their lives to the study of the Naadi and is one of the few books in English about this topic open to Westerners.
