Of all the books I purchased to study for the NAB exam, the most relevant was the Nab Nursing Home Administrators Examination. I read this book several times, and with each review, more relevant material seemed to pop up. When taking the exam, I found that many questions came directly or indirectly out of this text.

Please remember this book will help you pass the exam, but it's not the sole key. You must properly study, otherwise you may not do well. It is my recommendation that you take a review course and supplement with several strongly recommended books, such as this one.

Another book I would recommend purchasing would be The Licensing Exam Review Guide in Nursing Home Administration: 1000 Test Questions in the Nation Examination Format on the 1996 Domains of Practice by James E. Allen. There was a lot of irrelevant material is this particular version, but I did find a few questions that were almost identical to those on the NAB exam. Particularly, the financial section was the most useful.
