Imagine a creamy, flat, sugary, candy watermelon flavor and that's what you have.
Leelee
The watermelon filling was more like a Jolly Rancher type flavoring than I thought, as opposed to more of a real sweet watermelon flavor.
Peter Haight
Anyway, order these if you like watermelon candy, because that's what they tasted like.

Too sweet. I don't know why but I thought the watermelon flavor to be a little more refreshing. Left me smacking my mouth, but not in a good way. Spent way too much money on this. Imagine a creamy, flat, sugary, candy watermelon flavor and that's what you have. I suppose some might like that but I like my watermelon flavors to be "juicy" and this didn't hit the spot.

Nabisco Oreo Limited Edition Watermelon Flavored Golden Cookies (1 Pack) I don't dare tell anyone that I paid nearly $14 for one package of Oreo cookies that you can buy in a grocery store!!! I heard about these on a Tellwut post. No grocery store around here will sell them. I talked to a manager, and he thought they would taste horrible. For a lark, I thought I would look on Amazon. After all, Amazon sells absolutely EVERYTHING! There they were!!!! I have loved watermelon flavors since I was a small child. I am 48 years old!!! When I took my first bite (middle of the night in bed!), I was blown away!!! These are the most heavenly food that I have ever indulged in!!! I took tiny bites, and I savored every single moment of it! My cats smelled the flavor. I had to fight them off of me.... these are MINE, ALL MINE! I am very disappointed that our stores won't stock them. However, that made the %14 price tag on a $2.99 box of Nabisco Limited Edition Watermelon Oreos well worth the price! These are to die for! Normally, I would probably scarf them down in two days. I only allowed myself 2 (ok 3) cookies last night. They are MY GOURMET GUILTY PLEASURE. I will tell anyone online about these; but don't you dare even tell my family about them. I hated Oreo cookies (the chocolate ones.... chock-a-lot). However, the golden cookies are sooooooo delicious! Add that overwhelmingly delightful watermelon creme in the middle, and ...... there are no words. Why do they have to be "limited" for? All the more reason to savor every bite while I can!

The watermelon flavor was worth trying, almost like a Jolly Rancher. As a whole, I enjoyed the experience, but would not buy again.

Really cheap tasting watermelon. So artificially flavored. Yuck!!! And that's coming from a pregnant lady who'll eat anything. Missing the rich creamy goodness of a regular or double stuff oreo. I'm interested in the candy corn, wondering when they'll come out. Too bad we can't give 0 stars....

Bought it for a friend as a birthday present. He is completely addicted to Oreos. He said that it ABSOLUTELY tasted like watermelon, which is what made it taste so weird. I guess the world is not yet ready for watermelon cookies.

I'm an Oreo aficionado, but the fruity-flavored Oreos are always my least fave. I give 'em all a try though– as I did with these. Of course... these ones are definitely edible. (In fact, I ate far more than one. =] ). However, they fall into the "2-star" range for me. That's all just relative to my overall love of Oreos. Otherwise, they'd all probably get "fives."

If you like fruity Oreos, you'll probably like these. I have to admit that the flavor is fairly true to "watermelon." Unlike some of the other creme flavors, I didn't feel this one was as "strong." It was more subtle and allowed the classic golden cookie flavor to still come through. Some flavors (e.g. the banana-split one) practically only taste like the cream. The cookie has to still come through!

These are the bet. Since they were a limited time offering, after trying a box I came back and bought a case! And I'm not usually a snacker, I'm really fit and can manage to avoid most junk food but I have no power over these! Important note: unless they have decided to bring them back, these cookies were made only to be sold at Target in the summer of 2013. They all expire December 2013.

I didn't expect this to taste anywhere near as good as these taste. Usually, when something is labeled as some type of fruit flavor, it rarely actually tastes like the fruit. However, the colorful cream in these oreo sandwiches actually tastes like watermelon, and while the price for these seem fairly high for oreo cookies, if you live in an area that didn't carry them(Like me), the price is well worth it.

I originally bought these as a gift, but accepted one to try, and now am considering buying myself a package, because these are quite literally the best cookies I have ever tasted!
