I have been a fan of this band for some time and was intrigued to learn that they had released an new disc of a live acoustic concert. From the first listen, I really was captivated by the fine work. While their other studio albums are a well played hybrid of medieval music and heavy metal, Nakt(naked) is very traditional more like In Extremos' Die Goldene and Hammeln. The band members demonstrate that they can really play as their performance is tight and well produced. As another reviewer noted, this disc is a good intro to the band since the songs are from studio albums which are more typical of the group's mixed approach to music. Here, the songs and music stand on their own. Fans of the band will enjoy this release as will fans of medieval music. Very high quality.
