I had to upgrade my review from four to five stars because this album has become my new favorite around the house. The more I get to know it, the more I love it! Originally, I gave it four stars only because Kevin's Sur O No Sur album is so masterful that I felt I had to differentiate between the two. After hearing Sur O No Sur and loving it so much, I had to hear more of Kevin. This album (Nada) starts out with Guacamole which is a lot of fun! Then it goes into one song after the next sounding very nice and pleasant with toe tapping rhythms and lovely melodies. A great CD for parties or for relaxing after work.

The Nada is the first (and maybe the best -but the others are also so great-) record from Argentinean-American new pop folk genoius Kevin Johansen.

Kevin, a musician who plays from disco music to pure tango has enough talent to perform rock, cumbia, samba, bossa nova, candombe, funk or soul!!

His lyrics are son simple however, but its nature of irony and humour is the way he chosed to be funny and so delightful to listen to.

Kevin is one of the best and more complete contemporary musicians. But his style can be liked the best if you know mainly South American culture and english and spanish (mixed!) as well.
