This was an excellent story of working through devastating tragedy and despair and finding forgiveness, faith, and a future beyond belief. I walked through all of this with Nadia, as I read the novel, but it was enlightening instead of depressing. Nadia and David are such complete characters, and the supporting cast is delightful. I had read GRACE FOR THE CHAR-BAKED by the same author, but NADIA'S HOPE is so much better. This is an outstanding example of Christian romance, and the Jewish heritage added an extra dimension to an already fascinating situation.

I never write reviews, but I felt like this book really deserved one. Greatly enjoyable, this book was not a "light read" in that the content was compelling, deep, and inspiring. Go on a journey with Nadia as she struggles against God's love through deep pain and anguish, then rejoice with her as she finally finds peace. Excellent book . . . very different from most out there.

I fell in love with Nadia's story. She is a beautiful, wonderful young woman in so much pain. I cried in pain several times for her, and cried with joy in other parts! There is so much I want to say about this, but I don't want to give away spoilers.
This is an incredible book. A story of grace and love and forgiveness. This should be a book handed out to all victims of sexual violence.

I do want to mention that the word "rape" is mentioned several times. There are some who are too sensitive to read that, but honestly, you should really read this book. It will be worth it, I promise.

This was a very moving and refreshing read. It moved along nicely and I soon got to know a cast of characters that reminded me of people I've known in life or wish I had known. As I got to know Nadia, the main character, I really grew fond of her. Her personality was endearing. Her struggle was real and relatable, for anyone who has felt they have been abandoned by God or feels they are not whole after life has happened to them. The love story was beautiful. The setting of it is equally beautiful. I miss the blue ridge mountains.. Nadia's personal journey, her friendships, the surprises, the struggle to.... Well I don't want to give too much away... The ending was very satisfying.

There were so many parts of this book thst really made me pause and think about stuff, passages I wanted to remember and write down. When I finished the story, I felt like I saw things a little differently than I did before. I remember some long lost teacher of mine telling the class that a really good book should leave us changed. I downloaded this book, never realizing this one would do that for me. I highly recommend it. In fact I am about to download the next one now-- It follows Nadia's roommate, Bethany.

The author, Lisa Buffaloe, does a fantastic job of taking her reader on an emotional roller-coaster read. You journey with the heroine, Nadia, as she starts off fearful of every shadow and sound, but claws her way out of the quicksand memories and into the waiting arms of God's grace and a good man's love.

Was a nice book with spiritual undertones. An easy read without deep character development. An OK read. No heavy romance scenes.

I really enjoyed this story and found I was intrigued as the author strung me along with tidbits of the backstory that were impacting the characters in the here and now. It definitely helped me feel the confusion in the relationship that was developing. Great job! Definitely enjoyed it.

This is an excellent Christian romantic suspense--try it on for size! Way to go, Lisa Buffaloe!

Nadia Minsky wants to be invisible--guys frighten her, reminding her of an incident she'd much rather forget. The pain in her leg is an other unpleasant reminder.

She transferred from college in Israel to America to escape the memories, to feel safe, and to receive physical and psychological therapy. The physical therapy might be helping, but none of the other escapes are. She wakes screaming too many nights.

David Cohen seems to be different from the other guys--strong but gentle. Not crude or demanding. She would give him a chance, date him a little, as long as he didn't want anything more than friendship.

But he does, so Nadia decides to go home--to Israel. There she will see what is up with her brother and take care of some unfinished business. Maybe she needs to make justice happen herself.

Maybe you need to buy this book to find out for yourself.
