I think you just reviewed a band called "Nadine" for an EP called "Nadine" by the band called "Alice Donut". Which was hilarious to read, by the way, since I was confused from beginning to end.
This is a sweet little EP by the way. A good collection of songs that seem to work well together. Anyone who comes looking for it knows what they're in for by now. Since it is essentially an extension of Pure Acid Park, that's probably the easiest way to think of it as being placed in the spectrum of Alice Donut music.

The fifth member of Nadine, March 22, 2000

Well, what can say, the few tracks I've heard are mature and well thought out songs. In addition, I'm sure it makes the life of being a rock musician a lot more palatable when you've got a great studio and wonderful people to back you, like Bob Andrews and the whole alt. country mileu of that biggest, small town in America, St. Louis. If you can classify it, I surely hope that this genre comes up with a new name and description, because there is nothing alt./ or depressing about any of it. It's all just life and bittersweet, not to mention a very honest and classic nature.
Anyway, Adam's voice sounds so much better than I've ever heard. Steve Rauner is a very innovative and creative guitar player and Todd Schnitzer is an artist in the studio. As a drummer, I can't see it, but even lost souls like Todd can be realized and he has been from these recordings. I'm looking forward to the next record.
Look out for Rural Pictures. They are on Fire!
