I ordered this mike to replace a too-cheap, awful plastic piece of junk, to be used with a fender amp-can for street-talking at protest events. I looked through a lot of what Amazon had in a lower price range, and settled on the Nady SP-33 based on the ad saying "The included cable makes this an even better deal" and the free shipping. I was disappointed upon its arrival that there was no "...included cable", and surprised that this model has no on-off switch. A quick call to the Musician's Friend customer service no. on the invoice got a cable meeting my needs sent out immediately, at no cost. I'll deal with no on-off switch at the amplifier. The mike has a better and fuller response than the plastic junk it's replacing, and looks and feels well-built. I would have given five stars (especially for that customer service!), but for the fact that the mike doesn't live up to all spec.s in the ad or its own documentation. The Amazon ad says 50-16khz response range, but the lit. with the mike says 50-12khz; also, the included lit. says gold plated xlr contacts, which aren't in evidence. Can't really complain at this price (14.99) and free shipping, not to mention again, Musician's Friend's commitment customer satisfaction and rapid response.
