Effective range on the 81.3 MHz channel was about 2-3 ft, and on the 85.3 MHz channel the range was around 8 inches. Granted, I live in New York City, so there is a lot of interference, but I still expected to get at least 10 feet between me and the receiver. Also know that it gives mic level output, so you need a preamp or microphone input if you are planning to plug it into a stereo.

I don't recommend this product. I tried to use this at a small gathering of 35 members. the Mics are working only when they are at the base. They are not working if we move just 3 feet away from the base and it's really irritating. We didn't know when they work and when they stop.

You take it out of the box and just know you are in trouble. It is extremely cheap in its construction and picks up every other word. When it actually does pick up the sound quality is awful. I am returning it now.

This product has been an exercise in frustration. We purchased it so that our daughter could sing karaoke-style through the stereo. Since the box says "Easy to use - simply plug into home stero or amplifier just as you would your wired microphone," we assumed that this would be possible. Not so. I spent a good deal of time trading batteries and testing the product on two different stereo systems, but was not able to get any volume. Finally, I called customer service. The guy explained that you cannot use this product with a stereo. You have to have an amplifier or a mixer. I'm sending it back; my kid is disappointed and I am exasperated.

I was a bit nervous about ordering this after reading some negative reviews about the microphones not working more than a few feet from the base and poor sound quality, but I needed something that could be shipped quickly and wasn't too expensive.

The microphones worked great for our Halloween party! No issues with quality or distance. People really preferred them to the "wired" microphone that came with the karaoke machine, and this gave the option for three people to each have their own microphone...and the more people singing, the less shy they are.

It was much easier to set up than the karaoke machine itself. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has a karaoke machine.

My daughter is a budding American Idol. ; ) We also used it for a karoke party and the wireless worked really well! It's been a lot of fun and the sound is good.

These Mics work great. Their range is not great, probably about 15-20 feet. They are loud and clear. It really makes karaoke more fun.You will not be disappointed especially for the price.

her girl friends and her are just having a great time with it (now I need to order noise canceling headphones for myself!) Thanks again I am really happy with the purchase.
Nady Dual Microphone Wireless System for Karaoke

I gave the Nady Dual Micropohone Wirless System for Karaoke as a Christmas gift. I have not used it. The person I gave it too is very satified with it. For the money it is a good product. It is very reasonably priced in comparison to similar products.

I had a couple DJ's looking for the cheapest wireless mic system they could find, this karaoke system turned out to be it, they said it worked fine for the show but that the mic quality was terrible, nobody could understand what they were saying, I guess that might be good for Karaoke in cases where you don't want to hear nor understand anybody that is singing, but hey, it worked and didn't fall apart, so it makes a good kids toy, probably what it was really meant for anyway.
