Amazing Value and Excellent Quality for the Price!,
This review is from: Nady DKW-1 GT Guitar Wireless System (DKW-1GT)
I have used this wireless system both at home for freedom from wires while practicing as well as on the stage for gigs and must say that it has an excellent sound with no dropouts or static. I am sure that for professional gigs with many wireless signals, longer distances from receiver to body pack, or even better sound and tonal expression, a full-sized receiver for a few hundred is necessary, but for the gigging musician or anyone who wants to break free from the wired instrument world for a very low price, this unit is unbeatable. Another amazing feature of this unit is that the body pack can also accept a wind instrument microphone which is also available by Nady for another $50 allowing a musician to have a very high quality wireless system for saxophone, trumpet or other acoustic instrument for a mere $100, an incredible deal with remarkable sound transmission. I highly recommend this product a high quality entry- to mid-level instrument wireless system for talented musicians on a tight budget.

Pretty dang good,
This review is from: Nady DKW-1 GT Guitar Wireless System (DKW-1GT)
For the price, this thing is veryyy nice. Only large downside is the plugin for the guitar is a little skinny, so it tends to fall out if you don't find a way to hold it in, which shouldn't be a hard thing to do. Other than that though, it's clean, extremely nice, I'm very surprised this system is the price it is. I can walk all through my house, up and down stairs, and the system works perfect with no lagtime, no delay. Highly recommended, just gotta get something like a very slim rubber stopper at the bottom of the plugin to make it fit snug. At the moment, tape is doing the trick for me ;)

A terrible product not even worth the price,

I recieved it this morning and was very excited as I opened it and set it up. As I started to attach the transmitter to the guitar, the clip broke. I was perfectly careful because I've had those clips break on various other products before that are meant to be attached to things, but the clip broke so I figured "Why not? I'll just tape it." And as I took the transmitter off to go get tape, I found out the transmitters end of the cord is too small for the thing and can just fall out. So after taping all this crap together, I turned the thing on. The reciever turned on fine. But the transmitter blinked on and off as though the battery I had put it was dead. After testing the battery in a pedal to make sure it wasn't (and it wasn't) I put it back in the transmitter. After turning it on and off again several times it did eventually STAY on. So with it taped to my guitar I proceeded to walk around with a clean signal and test it. It cut out... a lot. So I tryed it with a little distortion. Somewhat less cutting but still a lot. So as I sat down in front of my setup to see if I had set it up wrong I found that it didn't work there at all. No signal even though I was DIRECTLY IN FRONT (About 4 maybe 5 feet away)OF THE RECIEVER. Needless to say I was and still am frustrated with the piece of junk so I'm going to see if my local music store will take it. If not them, the pawn shop.IN SHORT: There is no good for the price on this item, it is would be terrible regardless of the price. Better things you could buy for the money you may spend on this item: A cheap effect pedal An instrument cord or two Strings and/or picks to last quite a decent amount of time 5,000 Tootsie rolls.

I was excited when I got this! I was all geared up to go but when I played with it I was a little disappointed. It worked with a noise gate fairly well and add some distortion and you're fine. But straight and clean on my bass was sub par, crackly and didn't produce the bass tone right. If you play regular guitar and have some kind of distortion, compression and noise gate set up, then you are set, use this and enjoy it. As for myself and those who don't use that kind of set up, or play bass, I would recommend going elsewhere for your wireless needs

As an active player, I recently moved into the wireless world. Definitely with this Nady equipment I could experience a freedom never known before, you can go to the public seats to make the sound tests and listen your instrument from the last row as well as the stage. Good range for medium to small venues. Really easy to use, haven't had problems with unwanted noises and so far it has been reliable as it can go through a 3 hour show with no problems at all. The only issue with it, a minor one, will be that I feel a slightly change on the voicing of my bass guitar, don't know why, but it was easily solved by improving the EQ. Good job Nady!

This Nady guitar wireless system is great because, you don't need to spend a lot and you can have very good audio quality i repeat, goood not great. It's very simple, i recommend you to buy aswell V9 rechargeables batteries, because you'll need one. i loved the hard shell it comes with , and the simplicity to use it, i didn't even had to read the instructions, just plug and play.

Works great ! Easy setup. Have been using for over 30 hours on the same 9 volt battery with no issues. Just remember to turn off during breaks. The body of the sending unit and belt clip are plastic, and might not be trusted. I just drop the unit in my back pocket for security. Would definitely recommend Don't know why I spent so much time tripping over cords!

This system works, but it's suitable for light use only. the case is pretty lightweight and came apart when dropped just once. the sound quality is ok, I need to adjust it a bit because the sound cancelling settings are a bit aggressive and is clipping a bit of my sound at the beginning and end of transmits. overall not bad for the money, but probably won't last long in a rough environment.
