I've been using Nair since I was 13 years old and it works Great for me!
Lorena
The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it doesn't work as well on my legs (even if the hair are small enough) as it does on my arms.
DP
I didn't buy this here, but at my drugstore because I needed another alternative to shaving.

Call me whatever you want, but I'm a guy who have been using Nair since I was 14. I had to shave for JROTC and Football back in high school, and didn't feel like going through cutting myself with a razor, so I thought I could use this product as a short cut to loosing facial hair. This is a good product, all you do is apply where you want your hair to be removed and wait about 5 minutes and then wipe off with a rag or towel. The only problem that I can think of is that sometimes it doesn't remove all the hair right away, causing me to apply more. Usually the all the hair comes off after the second time I apply the lotion. Also the product has a weird smell to it. It comes in many flavors like apple, I guess to not have such a bad smell. And sometimes you might have a burning sinsation when you remove large amounts of hair on your body, but that might be normal. It's much better and less painful than plucking and waxing. Other than that, this product is great. I use it on my chest and legs as well (yeah my legs). If you have to shave a lot or have to wax portions of your body and want to try something different, then try Nair out and see what you think. Like I said, I've been using this since high school and it works well. I guess they finally realized that men use Nair and finally came out with something for them, so when the bottle that I'm using is empty, I will check that one out as well.

i use this brand of nair. I usually just buy it out of the stores for about 5 dollars. I ordered this one because it said pack of 3 for like 5 dollars. that's mean I would get 3 for the price of 1. after receiving this ordrer and opening the box I only had 1 nair and that upset me. its like this seller is false advertising. it is the same product in the picture though. its just in the newer bottle.

Did everything on the instructions, still got a chemical burn (lasted a little less than a day), and it didn't even get rid of all the hair. Only saw a 50% hair loss, if that. Not worth it. I'm tossing this out and keeping my razors!

I've always had Nair in the house. I don't know why, somehow I remain convinced that it SHOULD work. It seems like the easiest solution, and the quickest too. Instead of trying to rip or slice the hair off, you simply dissolve it away with acid. Sounds reasonable to me!

Unfortunately every time I get around to trying Nair again, I am reminded why I don't use it. The one I happened to try today was the Nair Hair Remover Lotion with Aloe Vera. This should be doubly good, right? Not only does it dissolve away your hairs, but it soothes your skin afterwards.

Believe me, I follow all the instructions very carefully. First I soak in warm water for at least 1/2 hour to soften up the hairs. Then I shake the Nair well and apply it on the legs thickly without rubbing it in. The hair is definitely coated. Then I wait 15 minutes (the longest allowable time) before attempting to wipe it off. Nothing happens. Maybe a few hairs are removed, but the vast majority remain.

Not only that, but anybody who tells you that this "acid" can tell the difference between your organic hair and your organic skin is lying. It hurts to have this cream sitting on your entire legs for 15 minutes. I think of it as 'beauty torture'. When I'm done, not only do I still have my leg hair left, but I now have red bumps where the acid got into pores and caused irritation. I wouldn't mind the temporary irritation (gone the next day) if the hair actually went away too. But noooooooooooooooooo.

I did actually take pictures of my legs after the nairing to show how untouched (and still hairy) they were. I'll try to load those up on my website. But unless you have really fine baby hair (and if you do, why are you obsessing about removing them?) then Nair really doesn't seem to work well.

I like this one..I bought the one with the baby oil and did not like it nearly as much. It itches and seems harsher. This one works well and is not irritating if you do these things:
DO NOT leave on ANY longer than 4 minutes. If you are sensitive, start with 3 or even 2 then wipe a small area and see if hair is coming off.
DO NOT use under arms if you have recently applied deodorant. It WILL react with the deoderant. I made this mistake one time and it burned my armpits very badly. I had done it before without issues so I concluded it was the deoderant and it hasn't happened since. And again NO longer than 4min.
Also I use gloves to apply; (like the kind you use with hair dye) b/c yes it will smell up your hands and the smell seems to stick around even after showering.
Following these instructions, I notice I get much smoother and closer than with a razor and the job probably lasts 1.5 to 2 times as long.

I would never recommend Nair products. They are harsh chemicals on your skin. I put it on to try it out and when I took it off it did an awful job and burned my skin. I actually had burns that took a while to heal. It's not like it was just for one day.

I would not recommend using these chemical lotions. Stay away from Nair.

I'm going to first start by saying anyone with sensitive skin or allergies may want to avoid this product. My sister used it once and it ate into her skin. This obviously isn't for everyone and should be tested first as it states on the back of the product. I got this pack of 3 because it's way cheaper than buying just one. 3 for the price of one bottle? Can't beat that. It has lasted me quite a while and doesn't damage my skin. I also do not have to suffer from the cuts I frequently get when shaving. I have used this on my legs, underarms, and near the bikini area. If you're going to use it near your bikini line, I advise caution. You don't want to get this stuff too close to your delicate parts. It's very easy to apply, but kind of smelly. I leave it on for about 7-10 minutes to ensure that all the hair is taken off. It is easy to wash off when I get into the shower and makes my skin very smooth.
