The audio cassette is the way to go. Why read the book when you can listen to Rita herself? With this kind of material, the written version is an incomplete substitute for the original -- standup, spoken comedy. It's all in the delivery! (If you read the book, you need to imagine it in her voice, and if you don't know her voice you are totally not getting it.) This tape is better listening than most of the stuff on the radio all day, so as long as you can concentrate on your driving and listen at the same time, it's good car audio. Or beach audio, or wherever. You'll get a few laughs, a few zings, some nods, some quotes to pass on, you'll want to play parts of it for various people in your life. I won't impart the material here, 'cause that would spoil it, so all I can say is it's worth a listen. It didn't make tears roll down my face, but it made me smile and laugh many times.

Rita Rudner is my new favorite comedian. I wish I could find some of her stand up on CD or cassette, but her reading her book in this audio recording is really funny!

This book was the first I've read by Rita and plan to read all of hers, it was so true to life and written with a great sense of humor. It was very fast reading and I wanted more and more. I would recommend it to all women if you need some laughs.

Next to "1066 and All That", this may be the funniest book I've ever had the pleasure to read. When it came out it hooked me on Rudner, and as I await her new release it's about time I offered my opinion on this one. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ... Words can't describe it, you just need to read it. I don't laugh all that easily, but this is the kind of book that has me falling out of my chair ...

This book was alright. I love Rudner, and I think most of my enjoyment of the book was because I was able to hear Rita's voice in my head as I read the book. If you can't do that, alot of the humor will likely fall flat. She's definitely got some insight into modern life, and the humor is almost as funny the second time around as it is the first.

In original wrapping as described, and works like new (even though it's a 20-year old cassette). Great to have access to Amazon's free delivery service for this single item. Completely satisfied.

I hadn't read any thing by Rita Rudner until I stumbled on her latest book. I decided to go back and read some of her earlier ones. Naked Beneath My Clothes is even funnier that her latest bookI Still Have It . . . I Just Can't Remember Where I Put It: Confessions of a Fiftysomething. Some of her references are a little dated, but since I'm about the same age as she is, I remembered well what she was talking about.

Rita's mind works in very oddball thoughts that ring true and hilariously so.
I loved this book !
It is bizarre and the thinking persons dry humour funny.
