"Naked Erotica has something for everyone--something sexy and smart and worthy of multiple reads." -- www.janesguide.com, November 2006
About the Author
Alison Tyler has written for anthologies including Sweet Life 1, 2, & 3, Wicked Words 4, 5, 6, & 8, Erotic Travel Tales 1 & 2, Best Womens Erotica 2002 & 2003 & (upcoming) 5, Guilty Pleasures, and Sex Toy Tales. She is the editor of the series Naughty Stories from A to Z (Pretty Things Press) and Best Bondage Erotica and Heat Wave (Cleis).
Called a trollop with a laptop by East Bay Express, Alison Tyler is naughty and she knows it.
Over the past 20 years, Ms. Tyler has written more than 25 explicit novels, including Learning to Love It, Strictly Confidential, Sweet Thing, Sticky Fingers, and Something About Workmen (all published by Black Lace), as well as Rumors, Tiffany Twisted, and Melt With You (Cheek). Her novels and short stories have been translated into Japanese, Dutch, German, Italian, Norwegian, and Spanish. Her stories have appeared in more than 100 anthologies.
When not writing saucy short stories, Ms. Tyler edits erotic anthologies. She's recently completed her 50th collection, Alison's Wonderland (Harlequin, 2010). Her best-selling titles include Naughty Fairy Tales from A to Z (Plume), Naked Erotica (Pretty Things Press), and Best Bondage Erotica (Cleis Press).
Ms. Tyler is loyal to coffee (black), lipstick (red), and tequila (straight). She has tattoos, but no piercings; a wicked tongue, but a quick smile; and bittersweet memories, but no regrets. She believes it won't rain if she doesn't bring an umbrella, prefers hot and dry to cold and wet, and loves to spout her favorite motto: You can sleep when you're dead. She chooses Led Zeppelin over the Beatles, the Cure over NIN, and the Stones over everyone. Yet although she appreciates good rock, she has a pitiful weakness for 80s hair bands.
In all things important, she remains faithful to her partner of 15 years, but she still can't choose just one perfume.

5.0 out of 5 starsNaked is a Pleasure, June 6, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Naked Erotica (Paperback)
Naked Erotica was a whim purchase for me. I actually bought it because I liked the cover and I'm a fan of Saskia Walker, who has a story in the collection. Usually, I'd be sure to know more about a book before I bought it, but this was a lucky break, I guess. I liked Ms. Walker's piece (Skin on Skin) very much, but other stories in the collection were also a pleasure to read. Exceptional, stand-out pieces include "Naked Ambition" about a woman's no-regret experience sleeping her way to the top, Rachel Kramer Bussel's "Touch" about how hot the narrator is for her girlfriend, "Stripping Janice" by a writer I'd not heard of previously named Eden Baltulis, which is a piece totally filled with longing for an ex-, and "Stroking" by Cate Robertson about a younger woman and the more experience man who seduces her. There was a good balance of hetero and girl-girl pieces, but what struck me the most was how well-written the stories were.

5.0 out of 5 starsSuper Sexy Collection, May 23, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Naked Erotica (Paperback)
Here's another winner from editor Alison Tyler! In this collection, she focuses on the sexy state of undress, or nearly undress. From the opening story by M. Christian "Jess Undressed" in which a man admires his stripped down girlfriend to Ms. Tyler's own piece "Naked? Never" in which a woman overcomes her fear of taking off everything during sex, the stories are varied and unusual. My favorites include "Stroking" by Cate Robertson, Savannah Stephens Smith's "Naked Ambition," "Radiance" by Tulsa Brown, and "Touch" by Rachel Kramer Bussel. But really all the stories -- and there are 26 -- are excellent. The book has a nice heft to it, and the cover is gorgeous. It would make a really nice gift--which is what I thought at first--but then I kept my copy for myself. :)

5.0 out of 5 starsWOW hot stories, excellent writers!, April 10, 2004

This was one of the best erotic anthologies I have ever read. the stories were all well written and full of sensual images of skin. My favorite story was "Her Birthday Suit" by Kate Laurie. It was a sexy tale of a woman's surprising birthday present. (...) I've been looking everywhere for more of her stories! Another good one was Tulsa Brown's "Radiance". It was about a small town girl that finds forbidden release with a stranger at a party. All of the stories are good, and definitely worth the money!!
