Romance That's Like A Punch To The Face, January 3, 2008
This review is from: Naked In His Arms (Harlequin Presents) (Mass Market Paperback)
The hero of the story doesn't seem to know the difference between a woman and a punching bag. I think the book had some potential but I was horrified by the assault and attempted rape--two of them! Alexander was a bully and Cara had about as much backbone as a jellyfish; she got thrown around like a rag doll throughout the entire book.
The story starts out with Alexander breaking into a woman's room with the intention of assaulting her, and things just go downhill from there. Cara manages to recover from man breaking into her apartment and kidnapping her in the middle of the night really, really quickly, and falls right into bed with Alex after he tries to force her to have sex with him.
Not to worry, though, Alex makes up for his boorish behavior by buying Cara lots and lots of expensive clothes! He's supposed to be a stud but I was ready to put a bullet in him myself and save Cara from a life of endless abuse, but no such luck.
However, if you can ignore all that and the Huge Misunderstanding that separates the couple in the last part of the book, I'm sure that many people will enjoy it.

Wonderful ending for the Knights brothers trilogy., July 29, 2006
This review is from: Naked In His Arms (Harlequin Presents) (Mass Market Paperback)
Alex was sent to protect a witness in an important trial. Cara Prescott is under Alex's custody, and to protect her has to take Cara to his private island.
Nothing is what it seems to be. Alex has a misconception about Cara. He thinks she is someone else's mistress. Though that doesn't stop him for falling madly for her.
Cara has a lot of spirit. Alex is strong, but sweet and caring. The chemistry between them is instant. I loved it! Take a ride in this wonderful journey, full of love, passion, and mistery.

My personal favorite in the Knight Brother Series, April 29, 2006
This review is from: Naked In His Arms (Harlequin Presents) (Mass Market Paperback)
This is the final book in the Knight Brother's series and is so hot, sensual and steamy; you won't be able to put it down.
Alexander Knight is the youngest Knight brother and an ex-special forces agent who is hired to protect the beautiful and lovely Cara Prescott. The "Agency" wants to hire Alex to keep Cara safe so that she can testify against a former employer who they want to put in prison with Cara being the only witness. Cara has refused to testify or go into the witness protection program, so Alex makes plans to not only protect her but kidnap her and take her to his private island.
Upon their first encounter, which is "highly charged" they are attracted to each other, confused, mistrusting, and wary but let me tell you I couldn't even get to Chapter 5 without my heart racing. Both of these characters are extremely proud, stubborn, intelligent, and their sexual attraction is "sizzling" to say the least. Their love story is truly an adventure full of love, lies, secrets and suspense.
For me, this final book was my personal favorite but I can't begin to tell you what an incredible series Sandra Marton has written. All three books, The Desert Virgin, Captive in His Bed and this sensational book Naked in his Arms are just another example of Sandra's talents in telling a story, one her readers will not forget.
