Stunning debut album from one of UK's top stars, March 2, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Naked (Audio CD)
This CD is Louise's first solo album since she left Eternal.
This CD starts with the sultry vibe of the title track, 'Naked', before moving through the upbeat tunes such as 'In Walked Love', 'Best That You Bring' and 'Goodbye To Love', with excursions into ballads with 'Light Of My Life' (Louise's first solo single) and slow, sensual music like 'One Kiss From Heaven' and 'Never Too Late', before becoming wistful and contemplative with 'I'll Fly Away' and 'I Gave You My Love'.
This is a very impressive album, with a nice mix of styles both familiar to Louise from her time with Eternal, and new, refreshing themes. This is aided by the undoubted talent of Louise, already a major star in her native UK.
Overall, a very high quality debut album, from an artist who has already proven herself in the UK and the Far East.

Whoa!, June 25, 2003

Over 20 years of reviewing Albums/CD's and making recommendations to my fellow freinds. I had never anticipated this particular Cd would rate so high in my review. Based on the overall track quality and how the Cd is put together, Louise Nurding's debut CD as a solo artist recorded the highest ranking EVER.
This is one of those rare "complete" CD where no "filler tracks" can be found between the first track to the last. Boys and Girls, there are only handful of CD/Albums ever produced that is this good.

A good start, October 25, 2002
This review is from: Naked (Audio CD)
After leaving the hit UK girl-group Eternal just after their debut album, Louise Nurding set out to establish herself as a solo artist. While some critics may have saw her as nothing more than a men's magazine pin-up girl, her debut album "Naked" yielded 5 UK hits including the massive title track. The album itself is a mix of straight forward dance/pop and ballads with a little bit of new jack swing to it. Stand out tracks include the Diane Warren-penned single "In walked loved", the hip-pop "i'll fly away" and the dance track "undivided love." While Louise doesn't explore the Hi-nrg dance genre like her contemporaries (kylie, Sonia, etc) she does have enough beats on the album to fill the dance floor. A great solo debut and arguablly her best effort to date.
