Great non-fiction for kids,

I needed to pair my fiction book "Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed" by Mo Willems with a non-fiction book and this was a great match. Pictures are clear and the text is kid friendly. I scanned the pages I wanted to show to my students for the big screen and the photos are perfectly clear. They do show babies nursing on a mom, which may be too graphic for some people. My kids asked how they get the pictures when they live in tunnels. That is a great question and the photographer must be innovative. I don't remember finding other non-fiction books about this animal. For the only one on the market, it is great.
