What a great book!,
By Danny Mazza (Scottsdale, Arizona) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Naked in a Pinstriped Suit (Hardcover)
What a great novel! The way Mr. Bowers portrays corporate America is superb- and funny! I'm only a high school student, but I think I'm better prepared for the corporate world after reading this book! I loved the satire! The book also made me look at the animal rights movement in a whole new way (be afraid, be very afraid!)! The ending will most definetly knock your socks off! A masterpiece! I can't wait until Al Bowers writes his next book!

Mystery spoof of corporate culture & animal rights activist,

This review is from: Naked in a Pinstriped Suit (Hardcover)
Al Bowers first book makes me hope he writes again. The truly inventive plot is the best part of the novel -- this isn't one of those books where you can get away with reading the last page first. Animal rights activists and their corporate prey take the spotlight. Dilbert would love the corporate satire. And whether you support animal rights or think the whole bunch is loopy, the author's take on them is well-researched, fair, and fun. On both sides of the issue, there are heroes and scoundrels and the main characters are people you can care about. Al Bowers has created a great, fast read. You'll want to read it in one sitting.

Fun suspense satire with surprise ending.,

This review is from: Naked in a Pinstriped Suit (Hardcover)
"Naked in a Pin-Striped Suit" is thoroughly fun. Author Al Bowers creates a collection of crazy characters including manic militant animal lovers, a tyrannical corporate executive, a lovely lady PR consultant and her beer
brewer boy friend. The resulting satirical, humorous and suspense-filled
page-turner builds a mock serious battle to a gruesome but happy climax and
surprise ending. It's a perfect read for the plane or the beach.
