A humorous book covering Computer Service, User Groups, Vendors, Service Customers, Apple Computer (the Mother ship,) and the Computer Dealership chain. The stories and chapters cover it all from the beginnings in 1980 to my happy retirement in 2005. I've 'Been there, Done that, and still have 300 T-Shirts to prove it.'
Retired finally and a former Marine who spent all his life in the Service Industry. X-Ray for 20 years and Computer Industry for 25 years and still keeps his hands in. I'm still involved in Computer User Groups and have been Compositing, Writing and Editing them for over 25 years.
I love to write and do software and hardware reviews. I still read a complete book a day and don't go to sleep till I finish it. A big joy is when I find typos or error in grammar (keep it to myself of course.)
Not a couch potato. That's a rut, and a rut is a grave with both ends knocked out! I keep my mind occupied all the time and still spend 8 hours a day, al least, on the Computer. Married for 28 years to a former Marine with Karate belts. Haven't argued in 28 years (grin.)
I wanted to share all the phases of the computing industry that I lived through. It's been a tremendous experience with lots of memorable contacts and some sorrowful times when wonderful companies that deserve to make it, can't.
