Obvious and circular,

This review is from: All Were Born Naked. . . No Skills. . . No Talents. . . No Intellectual Gifts (Paperback)
Basically this is an opinion. I thought it might have some science behind it, but it's essentially a philosophical argument. Bottom line is the author does not believe genetics have much to do about anything, and we are simply the products of freewill, and environment. Freewill, and environment are true, but to deny genetics is ridiculous; I will not argue that here. The problem I have with this book is that the argument for freewill, and environment is largely circumstantial. It's the classic praise the person that made it, and something is wrong with the person who did not; classic simpleton thinking, and probably based in some ego. Of course, nothing is mentioned about how the person in the wrong environment is suppose to leap beyond the circumstance. No real insight in this book, than the obvious; at the end it says nothing. There is no discussion about why people succeed, and some don't.
