Nalgene Tritan 1-Quart Wide Mouth BPA-Free Water Bottle

I own both the Nalgene and the Camelbak BPA-free Tritan bottles. I like them both really well and use them both for different situations. The Nalgene is a great carry around bottle, while the Camelbak is probably better suited for the gym or biking (due to its bite valve). One nice thing about this Nalgene is the Camelbak tops (with the bite valve) will fit right on it.

What else can be said about the Nalgene? It just does its job and does it well. These new BPA-free tritan bottles are just as durable as the old polycarbonate ones, but without the potentially harmful leaching. Moreover, I have heard people say these new bottles do not retain odors or taste when left in a warm environment. The only way to break these bottles are with exotic explosions or liquid nitrogen (youtube for this). You can also fill it up with water and drop it off a building or slam it with a sledgehammer (while filled) and break it. However, just carrying it around for everyday use, you will find it almost impossible to break it merely by dropping it, washing it, stepping on it, or even running it over with your car.

I like these tritan bottles better than aluminum or steel because A) they are lighter and B) they are transparent. The color selection is nice, but could be a bit larger (like it was with the old polycarbonate bottles). I personally own the orange one with the white top.

The only con with this bottle is the mouth might be a bit too wide for drinking while moving (you might splash yourself). It is great for cleaning and dropping ice in, however.

Overall, the Nalgene is a legend, everyone should own one.

Great water bottle. I use everyday on construction site(gets beat up a lot). BPA free which is what I'm supposed to be using according to my wife(she knows everything), and it's made in U.S.A

Great water bottle. It has a clean (clear) look to it and does not have any strong odor. It's opening is wide enough that you can clean out the bottle properly. It's survived some moderate "rough" handling.

My favorite thing about these new Nalgene bottles is that they do NOT smell like plastic. My water tastes like water, not plastic chemicals. And they're pretty colors too :)

Love it! Water tastes great and its easy to use. I also have a smaller one that fits in my purse more easily. Great water bottle - no icky plastic taste!

5am...I'm ready to leave for work, and I feel like a glass of milk, well its kinda hard to take that along in a glass...well until now!

This bottle is perfect for everything, water, milk, juice, and the best part? You can add loads of ice thanks to the wide-mouth opening. Its also perfect for shaking up a protein shake, or even your favorite powder drink mix!

I ordered a second one to keep in my car, for those forgetful days. The loop top, is also great...no need to worry about losing it.

I like the bottle generally. It has a nice design and just the right weight and grip.

The two main problems were:
- this bottle gets smelly pretty quickly (which isn't too major of a problem as long you wash it everyday)
- you won't necessarily be able to freeze it all the time

I specifically bought this bottle because the company website claims it can withstand temps up to -40F and since I wanted a bottle that I could freeze in the summer time, this seemed ideal. I was able freeze it maybe three times before the bottle cracked on me. Really disappointed because it's a great bottle. Will have to look for an alternative now.

This is a good bottle. To date, the bottle has served me well and does a great job of holding plenty of fluid to keep me hydrated at school, work, or on the go. I would purchase this bottle again if necessary, but that is not probable because this bottle is tough!

I try and always drink a whole bottle four times a day. Makes it easy to keep track of hydration.

I'm really glad I bought this product; it arrived promptly and since I've had it I've saved a ton of money by drinking more water and far less soda. Sure, I could've done the same with some other bottle, but it's good to know you have a quality, durable, BPA-free one. I bought this bottle primarily for that reason, to encourage myself to drink more water instead of soda in order to both save money and not waste as many plastic bottles (better to reduce than recycle).
