Format: Hardcover
This book is packed with images and paintings by this supremely gifted artist. She is a true original. It is surprising that she is not better known stateside.
Some of her characters have similarity to those of Nancy Spero, in that they have a print feel, and are are independent from the background. These aren't prints, however. Malini gets her effect by painting on acrylic sheets, then reversing the sheet.
Hopefully, the price of the book will come down.
