Oh, this is such a neat set! My mother in law ordered these for my daughter as "practical keepsakes". The quality is great, pop them in the dishwasher to clean, the weight is a perfect "heft", and the looped handles really are easy for baby to hold! Great baby shower gift----practical, unique and attractive!

This set is simply amazing. I love to just look at the pieces! Looks far better than traditional sterling silver pieces without the maintenance. It's polished to a smooth luster which retains with every wash and continues to look like I just took it out of the box. It comes with a grey storage cloth pouch sectioned for each piece and a metal name plate attached to it so you can engrave the baby's details. This set makes an excellent gift. Look forward to purchasing again for other expecting mothers!

I tried all the baby spoons on the market. These are hands down the best I have seen! My son also loves the tot set.

If you are determined to only buy "made in the USA products" to put in your baby's mouth, don't be fooled by the Nambe story.

Was so taken by company's prideful claims for their "New Mexico products" named after a small town near Santa Fe where the first studio was created. They host world renown artists to design their pieces, and claim to send their products for the U.S. Department of State to take overseas as gifts.

Okay, okay - so I'm one of the last people around to believe people in the U.S. still manufacture nice products, and want assurance of safe metals, no child labor factories making my goods, etc.

What a surprise to get a box with "Made in Vietnam". Oh well. Four ****s for a lovely gift as described by the other reviewers. minus one for the snow job.

I bought these because I wasn't happy with any of my other baby silverware when it came time for my daughter to feed herself. I love this set! It works beautifully!

The long spoon is idea for feeding my daughter with her bigger baby mouth (might be a bit big for baby's first rice cereal and baby food). She can use the big one, too, and sometimes prefers it to the little ones. Just wants to be like mom, I guess.

The short utensils are very easy for my daughter to manipulate in her grip. I am particularly grateful for the fork, because I had to buy antique stuff to find a baby fork with tines sharp enough to poke anything until I found this set! I don't know what people are afraid of. My daughter does much better with these utensils, real metal, pointy-tines and all, than she does with the more protective kind!

Bonus: the bent utensils perch neatly on the edge of our bowls. This is important because short utensils can easily sink into bowls of oatmeal if there's nowhere to prop them!

Highly recommend.

Love this baby cutlery set. Its made well and after 2 months of constant use , still looks like new. Baby loves to hold her spoon while I feed her with the long handled one. The rims are soft for her gums and no adverse reactions to juice, purees , milk etc. The handle is of right length and makes feeding so much easier.

I got this set as a gift for my second child and I wish i had had them for my first son. They are beautifully crafted and easily washed. I now routinely buy them as gifts for expectant mothers. My friends expecting their first child give me the obligatory "thanks" and move on to the next gift. Months later, after their baby is eating, they call me up and thank me for the great gift. I highly recommend for yourself or as a gift!!

I LOVE this set. It's beautiful to look at and my daughter loves her new spoon! I can't wait for her to be old enough to use the toddler spoon and fork.

I was incredibly impressed by the box it comes in. It's beautiful with a ribbon bow. The pouch it comes in is very nice as well. This would make a very nice baby shower gift. I love Nambe products and this really lives up to the Nambe name and quality.

I bought this silverware set for my newborn baby. Knowing how well-made Nambe items are, I had no hesitation about purchasing it - I'm certain these will last a long time and be of use for years (and babies!!) to come. As a new mom, I feel this would be a GREAT gift for any parents-to-be: it's packaged beautifully and looks waaaaay more expensive than it is!
