hi. im from santo domingo, i bought this shoes to climb a peak this weekend and they worked great. I run down the peak and they kept my ankle safe and my feet very comfortable..
i need to say in advice that you should buy this boots a half size more of your kind to fit your foot well... [...] take a look of the heigts of the peak

Great comfortable shoes. Hiked Mt. Whitney-22 miles in one day and these did not let me down. Light, comfortable and great ankle support. Same sole as the Montrail Hardock.

I ordered these shoes for trail running over the winter. However, they are better for hiking because of the stiffness of the shoe. That being said they are supportive and comfortable. Aafter many miles, it is nice to enjoy a hike, and not worry about foot pain.
