I just discovered this show on re-runs. There is NO laugh track, but there ARE at least 4 abrigded rock & roll songs per episode. Great sitcom!

If your here and need to read this review, then that means that you have never seen this show before. Otherwise you would have already purchased this DVD collection. Since you haven't, then let me fill you in on the basics of this show. First, you have Earl, the main character of this show. Earl has done alot of bad stuff in his trailer trash life. One day he buys a scratch lottery ticket and wins $10,000. Soon after, he wanders into the middle of the road, and duh, gets his corn creamed by oncoming traffic, which causes him to lose his ticket. In the hospital, he watches Carson Daily on the T.V. talking about karma. "If you do bad things, bad things happen to you" is what Earl gets from the "karma" Carson was talking about. And from there, he creates a list of all the bad things he has ever done and sets out to right them all. If that doesn't have funny written all over it, then you are already lost. Combined with an all star cast, great special guest appearances, and perhaps the most original plot ever, and you have the funniest show ever!

Great DVD Set,

The DVD has great extras like A gag reel and a Behind the senes look at the makeing of "My Name is Earl". I recived it for Christmas and I love it. It comes with a cover to the DVD set that says "My Name is Earl" on it and it looks like a button up shirt. It is a DVD that will give you a laugh. Get it, it's great!
