About the Author
N. Lucia Eskeland and N. Celeste Bailey earned doctoral degrees in Biomedical Sciences at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Subsequently, they did post-graduate work at the University of California in San Diego. The focus of Dr. Eskelands research has been in molecular biology, pharmacology and endocrinology. Dr. Baileys work has been in the fields of immunology, cellular biology and molecular biology. They have both published articles in prominent scientific journals. Dr. Bailey is an adjunct faculty at National University. Dr. Eskeland is a member of Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). Both authors live in Southern California with their families.
