5.0 out of 5 stars great album, March 17, 2005
I think that this band is great and very original. I don't hear too many bands like them and they have a unique style. Here is a list of my rankings of the songs.

1. Fear In Me (10/10) F'n amazing song and a great album opener.
2. Bellevue (9/10) Another really good song...it has a different pace and is one of their more melodic songs.
3. Guilt (9/10) The single off the album and is a very good song.
4. At War (8/10) Excellent singing and pretty fast-paced.
5. Speak In Tongues - (9/10) Awesome song with a great chorus.
6. 515 Mellus - not much to rate (35 seconds long)
7. Nathaniel (10/10) Best song on the album along with Fear In Me.....not a hard song but its an ill song.
8. Things Have Changed (8/10) pretty good, regular fingertight song.
9. Emo This (7/10) Decent song but not one of their best.
10. Shut Up (9/10) Good song with some nice parts to it.
11. Surface (7/10) Another fast-paced song but its pretty good.
12. Resurface (7/10) Pretty good song
13. The Orient (8/10) No lyrics but its a pretty cool little interlude.
14. Bla Bla Radio (6/10) ehh
15. Magical (9/10) Awesome slow-paced album ender with great singing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Perfect, March 19, 2004
1. Fear In Me- Great song, catchy tune, great first song to start the cd out with, i loved this song the first time i heard it

2. Bellevue- i wasnt crazy about this one at first, but the more you listen to this song you realize how amazing it is and this is probably now one of my favorites on here, a unique beat to it

3. Guilt (Hold Down)- this is the single that got me into this band, i am just really drawn to this song, i've never heard a beat or lyrics like this it before

4. At War -i love the lyrics, i love the beat, this song is perfect, i love everything about it

5. Speak In Tongues- didnt get into this song too much, but I like it, i havent listened to it enough yet

6. 515 Mellus- interlude

7. Nathaniel- this is my favorite song on here, i never get sick of listening to it, there is just so much emotion in this song and the melody just stands out from all the rest on here

8. Things Have Changed- One of my favorites on here, i dont know what i love more, the lyrics or the song, i absolutely love the chorus, like Nathaniel, i can put this song on repeat and not get sick of it

9. Emo This- really great lyrics, not sure whats up with the song title, lol, but the song grows on you the more you listen to it

10. Shut Up- this song is really cool, a unique style of sound to it, i love the lyrics and it also grows on you the more you listen to it

11. Surface- AWESOME song, great song to listen to if your p-oed and just need to rage, a lot of anger and screams in the lyrics and this is probably my favorite song to listen to if i just feel like hitting something

12. Resurface- How can anyone not like this song? I loved the lyrics and the beat to it, i bet most people will be able to relate to these lyrics, and its one of the best songs on here

13. The Orient- interlude

14. Bla Bla Radio- this song is about the radio im guessing, the lyrics are very clever and it grows on you more and more if you listen to it

15. Magical- took me awhile to get into this song, i didnt like it at first, but yet i kept turning to it and listening to it but i like it now, its really neat lyrics, its a love song and its a good song to end the cd off with

This CD really is perfect though, every song to me seems to stand out from itself and I absolutely love every single song on here. Its clear that this band is doing its own thing, and doesnt seem to care what other bands do, because they have a unique sound to them, not a generic one. This band is in no comparison to any band other band out there, they are offering a new original sound of their own that i have never heard before and Im really into. For anyone whos thinking of buying this cd, i suggest you do, and give this band a chance. Take my advice though, dont listen to it once, and toss it away, because rarely is a cd the best after only hearing it once. I think when you listen to this cd more and more, you notice different things in the songs, things that really stand out from others bands and things you can relate to. I also really love this band because somehow, ...you know how some bands, the lyrics to the song never seem to fit the beat? You dont have to ever worry about that when you listen to Fingertight. The emotion is just very deep and i just cant express enough how amazing and great this band is. If you are a fan of Fingertight, e-mail me at spirit_kitten@hotmail.com, i would love to hear from other fans. Anyway though, this is one of the best cds i've ever heard, and definetly a band that has real talent and a lot to offer. I'm very anxious to hear their upcoming CD and see them in concert.

3.0 out of 5 stars one really good song, and some tolerable., February 23, 2004
By Kris Yates (Hailey, Idaho United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Well, I heard that this band was touring w/ Mudvayne, so I decided to pick it up used for like 6 bucks. Thank god i came accross it like that, because this cd's worth nothing more than that. Bellevue is the only song carrying this cd at all. Just because the chorus has a good melody. But some of the songs toward the end of the cd are just absolutely annoying. It's like they aren't even the same band or genre as they are in Bellevue. 3 stars just because I can't stop listening to that one song.
