We love this train set! Its small, doesn't have too many parts, and is simple enough for a toddler to play with by him/herself. :)
Features: * All wood except for the magnets that connect the train cars * 11 pieces including 8 train tracks and the engine, passenger car, and caboose. * When put together the track measures 17' in diameter * Nontoxic color finish * You can purchase more cars to add on * Made in the USA When I opened the box that contained the train set, I got hit with the BEST smell on earth: natural hardwood. I don't know why it smells so good but it does! I so appreciate the fact that everything is made in the USA (Vermont to be exact). After I got over the lovely scent of the wood, my 3-year-old daughter Emma and I put the tracks together. Each track fits to the next like a puzzle piece so that they are easy to connect to each other but still secure. The magnets on the train cars are strong and each one is painted thoroughly in a vivid color. The train runs smoothly on the tracks. This is a quality toy that I hope to keep as an heirloom wooden toy - we recommend it! Some of the train cars you can add on are super cute, too. :) |
