This book has all the names of the original "Technology for the Soul" book. It also has affirmations next to each name which allow you to better understand the purpose of each name and how to use the energy correctly. These phrases that you use along with the names will also increase the effectiveness of each name.

Like the Bible, the Shemhamphrasch is public domain. Look up the Wikipedia def. and you see the 72 names of angels as well as demons. Under "angels and demons:" "Kabbalists and hermeticists have proposed correspondences between the 72 names of the Shemhamphorasch and a wide variety of other things, such as the Psalms, tarot cards, and so on. It is because of the flexibility (and numerical factorability) of the Shemhamphorasch that many ceremonial magicians consider it to be the key of creation of all things and all arts. The names have long been associated with 72 angels, as well as 72 demons..."

Fortunately, this book only has angels. This is Yehuda's spin on each of God's 72 elementals based on God's Name. I have no idea if Rabbi Berg's spin on the 72 Names of God, actually applies, BUT the concepts he applies to each angel are completely useful for every kind of ailment.

For example, the 72nd angel, or the lowest rep for heaven, begins with "MOUM" for spiritual cleansing. Spiritual cleansing is basic to accessing the upper "worlds," therefore I rec'd meditation with the 72nd angel first, then work your way up. Of course, you can skip around.

I like to combine the scripts in this book with emotional freedom techniques, so I'm never at a loss for words. You will never be at a loss for words either when meditating on self improvement and spiritual growth. Will it make you a ceremonial magician too? I don't have a clue, but it will help you chase away emotional "darkness" and give you strength.

This is one of the tools Kabbalah offers us, each of the 72 names is for a specific purpose. You meditate on the name or names (one at a time) that you feel you need, in the way the book explains. The names cannot be pronounced, as they are not words, but combinations of letters, so they really don't have a meaning, but each combination of letters has a diferent energy that helps us in the way that is described in each of the meditations!!! If you want to say any specific name you say the letters, for example Mem Hey Shin, which is the name for healing. The meditations are beautiful, very wise words by Yehuda Berg, that touch your heart and your soul!!!
You can also scan the chart with the 72 names of God, in the way that is described in the book, once or twice a day.

This book is very inspirational and the pages are attractively designed. I appreciate the simplicity and the novelty of the technology given for improving the quality of my life. I use it every day in conjunction with 'The 72 Names of God Meditation Deck72 Names of God: Meditation Deck. The card that I choose from the Deck and the corresponding reading from the text indicate the life lesson I need to learn.Additionally I select the Name that I wish to work with. This is the next step in my spiritual development.

Incase anyone thinks these are real "names" they are not! they are instead combinations of letters that contain powerful healing and protection. Buy reading them and seeing them one lets the power of the words pass into and through themselves.

Not only is this a useful too it is a beautifully made book that pleases the eye as well as the mind. I'll be carrying it with me when I travel.

This isn't what I expected but the chants are the simplest. There are other books that I need to get to go along with this one. I can't say I'm disappointed just not what I'd expected. These are however the powerful names of God!

This book doesn't need an explanation. The power of the letters in this books is overwhelming. It is merely enough to look at the letters to receive the effect.

I bought both "The 72 Names of God" books. The books are amazing. I received a download of beautiful energy just reading them.

This little book is amazing and oh so helpful! Everyday I hold it in my hands, quiet my mind, and gently ask to be shown what I need to know in that moment. I open it up and find one of the 72 names that I meditate on and it's just incredible how I read exactly what I am suppose to. Sometimes I ask a specific question and, literally, every time I open it to one of the 72 names that assists me in finding the answer. I'm so grateful for this helpful tool!

If you have been reading into Kabbalah and enjoy meditating this is an excellent way to focus your meditation. It's small and travels well. It provides brief and direct statements.
