In the true style of folk, Jennifer Marks tells you a story in every song woven with humor. Her style grabs you and allows you to enjoy the music many ways, lyrics, music and beat. If you enjoy this, try to get your hands on her first CD Pizza -- a bit more raw, but the edge it has grabs you.

Dont be afraid to listen to her word and how she plays with their meanings.

Just like the redhead she is, Jennifer Marks grabs your attention and doesn't let go. Once her new CD was in my stereo, I couldn't get it out. There are so many different styles, moods and subjects to enjoy and identify with. There are a few tunes which will get right in your head and not leave all day. That's if you wake up with the CD as I have so many times.

I bought this Cd after seeing Jennifer perform live at the Better End in NYC. It was the coldest night of the year and I figured I'd be the only one in the club but I was very wrong. Jennifer had a huge crowd and made us all feel like it was a personal performance. She was so engaging that I took a chance and bought this CD. It is just as wonderful as her live performance. The songs are honest, smart, and funny. The production is top notch and I can't wait to say I saw her when... This is a great CD, you will not be disappointed.

About a month ago Jennifer Marks came to my highschool. She sang for my chorus class...and to say the least she was amazing. She sang "My Name's Not Red", "Window", and "Fragile". I really love her voice and I am surprised that she is not well known. She definitely deserves to be heard everywhere.

A friend turned me on to Jennifer Marks and I'm hooked. She's wonderfully easy to listen to -- what a voice! -- and her songs are catchy without being "lite." Anyone who hears the CD asks, "who is THAT?" A must-have.

Spirited, vibrant, fun. Jennifer Marks tops her "Pizza" album with the modern pop/folkie "My Name's Not Red". A treat to listen to, Jennifer combines a teasing amount of sassiness in "Window" with a touch of sensibility in "Fragile". I saw Jennifer perform at the Living Room in New York last year and have been enjoying her music since. No doubt a rising star!

I absolutely love "Fragile". Jen Marks unique song writing style shines in this latest album. A must have for your CD collection, you'll want to hit the 'repeat' button and play it all day. Then when you're walking down the street or riding in the subway, her lyrics will pleasantly run through your head.

Jennifer Marks is SUPER TALENTED. I'm addicted to her new album "My Name's Not Red." Her voice is fabulous and her lyrics are awesome. After listening to, and constantly singing "My name's not red", I wish I were a red head.--She makes it seem like so much fun, and extremely sexy. This album is a MUST BUY!

I am so psyched that I found this CD. She is an incredible new artist that you will hear about soon. Don't pass this one up.
