I had been looking for a fountain pen to go in my Franklin Covey organizer. With organizers you want a pen that doesn't have a cap to lose or slow you down when you use it. Prior to finding the Namiki pen I had always had to rely on retractable ballpoint pens, which was unsatisfactory due to my love of fountain pens. Then the Namiki came along. I've been using it for two years now and it is perfect. Now I've got two of them.

As a fountain pen, this is a great pen. Add on top of that the coolness factor and it's an AWESOME pen.
Fountain pens have different "care and feeding" requirements from other pens so if you're new to fountain pens, something that costs this much may not be the best first choice. |
