I first heard Nancy Cassidy sing these songs when my daughter, two years old at the time, and I checked them out of the library. We loved them so much we bought the cassettes. Now she is 14, and her younger brother and 3 year old sister love to sing the songs (now we own the CDs), and we all sing them together. The song selection is fun and catchy. Cassidy has a great homey and fun voice. I want to add the lullaby songs on CD to our collection because I used to rock my oldest and my middle one to sleep at night with her songs (so the cassettes are getting old!). Also, great music to have in the car to sing along with.

I used this book when I taught second and third grade. I loved it! And so did the kids! I am now a stay-at-home mom. I tried to find the book in all of my school stuff, but it was lost. I just re-ordered it. This is a very upbeat, fun CD with song book included! I sing "Mr. Sun" to my kids in the morning; I sing "Mr. Moon" (from "Mr. Sun") to them before bed. But their favorite is "Brush Your Teeth" while I am brushing their teeth. It keeps them distracted while I am doing one of their not-so-favorite things. I highly recommend this CD.

Lots of fun songs for mealtime, and the book has all the words to help you along when you aren't sure. My nine month old loves it and smiles and giggles when I sing along. A lot of the songs are ones you may have already heard, but it is nice to have them all together in a complilation. I am very happy I bought this!!

This was exactly what I was looking for! Had the cassette tape years ago but only have CD players now. This is perfect!

My three sisters and I grew up singing all the Nancy Cassidy songs. They were our favorite car songs, and (as far as I'm aware) they were the only kids' songs that didn't drive my parents crazy. Now I'm a new mom, and I'm so excited that I can sing these songs to my baby.

I first bought Nancy Cassisdy's Kids Songs over 20 years ago when it was in cassette form. I've used it in my 2nd and 3rd grade classes and on car trips as sing alongs with my family. Over the years, I have given literally dozens of these CD sets as gifts. For awhile I couldn't find them, but luckily I stumbled upon them at Amazon. This set is a great investment in any child's musical background. I highly recommend it.

We had these songs on a cassette when our children were little and sang them on every trip we took. Couldn't wait to get the cd's for our grand daughter when I found this and where else to get them but at Amazon! She's already singing some of them and won't be 2 until July 4th.

Okay, so maybe Nancy Cassidy doesn't have the best singing voice in the world. Maybe the songs are old and you don't hear them much anymore. Well, my 26 year old daughter had this set when she was a little kid....on cassette tapes....and let me tell you....we ALL knew the entire play list order any lyrics..word for word. These are funny, catchy songs that are just plain fun to sing....some at the top of your lungs.
I recently found this again on Amazon and purchased for my 2 year old great neice. My sister (her Grandma) kind of raised her eyebrows when I put the disc in. I could tell she didn't think it was going be a hit. Well let me tell you....history does repeat itself!!!! My great neice now asks for the songs by name and sings dances herself silly....and well yes, for old times sake, we all actually join in. Alot of fun for a good price. Comes with a nice song book so Grandma and Grandpa can learn the lyrics and be a little bit silly too!!!!
If you had the original Kids Songs 1 & 2, this is the very same music, just a new look to the book, unfortunately not spiral bound like the original, but nice nonetheless.

One of my students favorite thing to do each day is to "Shake Their Sillies Out." We use this CD every morning so we can get rid of our wiggles before we begin our day.

I loved the Kids Songs tape as a child, and I love being able to pass on so much fun to my daugthers! They love it!
