I absolutely loved it. The artwork is amazing and the story interesting. However it probably wont take but a hour to read.

"Sleight of Dan" is installment #14 in the graphic novel series featuring Nancy Drew, girl detective. The series updates the popular novels by Carolyn Keene, reimagining teenagers Nancy Drew, best friends Bess and George, and boyfriend Ned into 21st Century River Heights.

As the story opens, Nancy's tomboy friend George is for once behaving like a love-struck teenager, over the famous magician Dan Deville, in River Heights for a show. Nothing will do but that Nancy should drop everything, including a date with the ever-patient Ned, to go with George and Bess to the show. A magic act goes strangely wrong, an assistant goes missing, and Nancy's detecting instincts are aroused. When Nancy goes snooping for the missing magician's assistant in Dan's rented mansion, she finds a tiger, a man-eating snake and a magician who is not all that he seems.

"Sleight of Dan" is highly recommended to the latest generation of Nancy Drew fans as an entertaining story with a surprising ending.
