"Tiger Counter" is installment #15 in the latest reincarnation of Nancy Drew, girl detective. This graphic novel series, derived from the stories by Carolyn Keene, reimagines Nancy Drew and her best friends Bess and George into the high tech 21st century.
Things are quiet in River Heights, and Nancy and her friends put in for some volunteer work at the local animal shelter. A call out to protect a cat from a scavenging coyotte leads to the shocking discovery that a tiger is loose in River Heights. Or is it more than one tiger on the loose? And how did they get there? Nancy Drew can't resist a good mystery, even if it means tracking a tiger through the woods with Bess and George, armed with nothing more substantial than a first aid kit.
